I think that people are more angry about the fact that the devs stated on numerous occasions that there would be no gear grind. This is like your teaching giving you a surprise final exam half way through the course.

I think this is where this goes. Not sure if its just me or everyone, but in a lot of places where there is an area behind a wall/mountain/object , the 2 different layers will pop in and out depending on my camera angle. This happens a lot, but I only remembered to take a screenshot in this place.
