We’ve had a few join us in the last couple days and are still actively recruiting.

Hello Redeye Jedi,

Welcome to the world of MMOs. I remember when I started playing MMOs 8 years ago, and have since left consoles behind.

My guild is called Among Shadows, and we are on the Yak’s Bend server. We are a very helpful community, and have representation in several other MMOs. Should you every want to branch out and try out other games, we have well established groups already set up that can assist you also.

If you haven’t decided upon a guild from the responses above, I think my guild Among Shadows will fit what you are looking for.

As you haven’t specified a server, we are on Yak’s Bend.

Our average timezone is EST and CST. Personally, I am married and I have two children, one is 2 and the other 4, and completely understand the wife aggro.

We are helpful with answering member questions, and doing events with them.

Our rules and expectations are on our website, and if you look through them, I think you will find that we are very accommodating to what you are looking for.

I think our guild will fit you perfectly. It is called Among the Shadows. Our rules specifically state that we are supportive of inactive periods of gameplay, and you would never be kicked for that.

Most of our members have the same situation as you. Personally, I am married with a 2 and 4 year old.

First off, we are an adult guild, and rarely accept members under the age of 18. We also consider ourselves a family friendly guild. Many of our members have families and children, college, and full-time jobs. We realize that these things are more important than this game that we play.

Due to these, we do not impose any rules stating that members must attend events, nor do we remove members for being inactive or missing events. We are there for our members and support our members.

We are not looking for those wanting to have the best gear before anyone else, obtaining server first kills, elitist attitude or are rude towards others, or those that belittle others that don’t have the same gear or better gear than themselves.

When it comes to loot and gear, we do not play the game to get the next best shiny piece of gear. We are more interested in the friendships built and time we game together and gear is just a tool to progress us further, but not the focus of members.

I’m sorry to hear about your bad guild experience. It’s also too bad you are on Piken Square, but if you would consider a character transfer…

I think our guild would be a good fit for you. While we have been around for a while, we are rebuilding after many have left the game. We currently only have a few active, just started rebuilding 2 days ago, so we are basically starting off new and fresh.

Our intention is not to become large, but just big enough to be active and do end game content. We don’t want our members to be just another name on the roster page, but get to know them as a person, and treat them that way.

However, we are on Yak’s Bend server. I hope that you consider a character transfer, and consider joining us. If you don’t want to do a character transfer to ours, best of luck to you, and I hope you find somewhere that you can be happy at, because that is what matters.
