Do you sincerely believe ANet cares and will respond? This is just a meaningless troll/whine post with absolutely no point offered.

I do have to say that a complaint should normally be met with a suggestion as opposed to an open ended remark. However, your need to insult someone on the basis of their general post in the forum is very befitting of a low quality person.

New trait system Good or bad?

While many may find this as a scrubby complaint, or any other variation of insult; I simply wish to discuss the new trait system and find a consensus of whether the community is satisfied. Whereas I normally don’t use my time to post on forums, I must say that the new trait system is very disappointing. Not so much as the general understanding that humans don’t like change, but more along the lines that all classes have been weakened substantially. All of those little perks and buffs that came with a chosen class have been removed and many of the skills and complementary traits along a line are no longer usable together. I’ve only started this forum to say that personally I am not satisfied with the changes and neither is my guild. When a group of level 80s can go into Ascalonian Catacombs (a level 35 dungeon) and lose instantly to the first champ spider, it seems “balance” was not well achieved. Having started this game on the first Halloween of it’s existence, I’m sad to say much of the fun associated with dominating monsters and having a chance at soloing big bad champs is lost. The new system to me, is simply not a good move.

so I told not to balance patch is better.

I have to agree with much of the populace. While many will attempt to label the complaints of others as “whining, or fussing” I find this new trait system to be counterproductive. When the new “balancing” system creates a new established weakness where a group of level 80s can no longer kill the spider in AC (A level 35 dungeon), the balance is really not done well. Not to mention many of the skills and fun aspects of playing lots of the classes has been removed. I have to say that going from a guild that was EXTREMELY active to seeing no one online after the re-trait shows how much the community approves of this change. It seems much of the guildwars community is no longer happy with the game. Disagreement is obviously fine, but please keep it productive as displaying a character unfitting of human interaction only shows how ignorant one is.

I am running a GTX 970 4 Gig with 5th gen i7 quad core, overall 4.0 ghz. Framerate starts high (100-120) and just drops extremely quickly to as low as 17. All other games I play do not give me issues. What gives?

Bought the game last night and played for 15 minutes… This company really knows how to make a first impression on a new customer. Glad I spend more time troubleshooting my PC/Software for a random bug than playing the game before I found this post.

kittening bravo to the idiot that approved this as a forced global setting in their software.

It is a one day joke. Go to bed, do some stuff for a day. Come back and it will be the game you were looking for. Well maybe not if you get so bent out of shape over a one day transformation. You didn’t even describe how this affected your game play.

Or you could spend more time camping this thread telling people how and when to enjoy their game, if we’re on the topic of ‘gainful activities.’

So are you camping this thread too? Good grief. It is a 24 hour thing, If people want to rage then let them. I’m still going to call them out for it. This thread is almost a duplicate of the bobble head prank last year. People talking about how this ruined the game, they will never buy gems again, they are physically sick and all the other hyperbole that went with it.

It get’s old.

Then leave the forum dude.

HAHA enough with they hyperbole and making stuff up. If it gave you a headache after a few minutes you need to see a doctor. Poor customer service? What? Where does this include customer service? Again, if you don’t like it that is fair but don’t get all off the wall to try to make your point.

VERY insensitive of you. Maybe the person actually DOES have a medical condition and you send them to the doctor?

If they do have a medical condition then indeed they should see a doctor. That said I have yet to hear of a condition where viewing an in game character with their arms out making air plane noises causes medical distress. Like I said, hyperbole and the use of such does not help the person’s complaint.

So it’s necessary for you to try and align someone’s view more with your own? Or is this just a display of your character? If you don’t agree, that’s your right, but who are you to try and tell people how to feel, or how to voice their concerns. Go give advice somewhere it’s wanted.

I did not find this prank to be satisfying, even for a prank. The picture view is annoying, the plane sounds and arms out is ok, but having to tweak my graphics and all; this just blows. I was really looking forward to playing tonight too, guess not now.
