Noxiva Shadowstep – Glass Cannon WvWvW Ranger
Olujiwan Risengard – Heavy Tank WvWvW Warrior
I find myself enjoying my guardian far more. I have an 80 ranger but in WvW the only usefull skill is the 5 on the longbow and the Elite vine skill.
Could we get a dev response on this?
Good fun this evening
What exactly has to happen to have their chat supressed? I am VERY vocal about enemy movements (and my own) in /m chat on my server and I have never been surpressed. Is it simply stating the same exact word(s) over and over again? I might have 5 or 6 lines in a row within a short amount of time that say something like:
/m [Spiritholme] under white swords. Checking. 10secs away.
/m Vet south of [Dawns] just went red.
/m [Spiritholme] clear.
/m [Greenlake] has orange swords. Anyone have eyes there?
/m heading to [Garrison] wp, then [Greenlake] to check.
/m BO at [Greenlake] get here asap!Except for the last line, those may all come about 20 seconds apart from each other, then I’m quiet for a couple of minutes.
As a commander, you can’t afford to be quiet for a couple of minutes.
Also, during a zerg VS zerg fight, you need to type in /say. During these fights, people don’t pay attention to the chat.
They need visuals. i.e. a chatbubble.
I think drop rate should increase a bit, but not necessarily badges. Badges are fairly easy to come by, I feel, and like others have said, if you want an increase, use AoE.
You can specialize and get a high-spike, low reward…
Or you can support, do a lower amount of damage to a higher amount of enemies for a higher reward. You get to choose the specs, so I won’t fault ANet for it. :/
Or you can go full support to help Ur team win and get almost zero rewards
Full support guardian here. I get my 121 slot inventory filled at least once an hour.
I have made around 1200 badges in the past 4 days. All you have to do, in order to get a lootbag:
Hit the person. Just once. For a guardian that might be easier (due to the staff AoE), but overall, everyone should be able to hit people with AoE’s.
support warrior, took me 2 months of 30+ hrs a week of wvw to get 1200 badges. don’t even attack most fights just spam skill 2 on heal banner. 10/0/30/30/0 build doesn’t do much damage anyways
It’s not about doing high damage, it’s about contributing to that players death, thus rewarding you with the lootbag.
Yeah, I’d like to see a dev respond to this.

just tell everyone if they want to know whats going on to join your squad, or deal without knowing.
As to who would ‘waste’ 100g just to avoid spam suppression? I would wager the exact people who the spam suppression is there to stop would not hesitate to ‘waste’ 100g on the icon and that is gold sellers. Not like they work hard or earn the gold, it would just be the cost of doing their shady business.
And those people would bother going into WvW for that? I highly doubt it.
Hey guys and galls,
I’ve been coming across this issue while commanding in WvW where I get supressed way to fast. Now I realise that there is a squad chat, but that just doesn’t work when commanding an entire zerg of pugs.
Just to give you an example;
If I run around with my 50-60 man zerg, and none of them are in the squad, I have to communicate with them via say, map or teamchat. Now you can say quite a bit before getting supressed, and I find myself getting supressed during zerg fights only.
This is mainly because in zerg fights, I can’t stand still (or autorun) for 5 seconds to type a coherent sentence. I usually have to shout out things such as “Stack”, “Push” “Retreat”, etc at a fairly frequent rate.
Removing the chat supression from commanders would help a great deal. I get the supression, it’s against spamming. But what person in his right mind would pay a 100 gold just to spam the chat?
Or maybe just disable it in WvW for commanders, instead of all-over.
I know, before Habib replied saying “squad chat doesn’t supress commanders”.. but not everyone will join these squads.
Care to enlighten us on this Devon? Any plans?
Amazing SMC fight tonight!!! Win or lose, the craziness was epic!
Huge props to Eze for leading us in the fun, awesome job leading
Hardly a good fight. I think all of us suffered from severe skill lag. I was just standing there spamming 1
Yes. Xoac is coming to FSP.

Check this out, It’s by far the best support guide out there.
I’ve done a little tweaking myself, but I currently run around with 1500 healing just about all the time.
Let me tell you, my world has patted me on the back several times for saving their kitten Pretty much everything you do ends up proccing Altruistic Healing so you don’t have to stay in the back and support, you can be up in the enemy’s face and heal.
What I mainly switch out, in zergs I prefer having Wall of Reflection instead of Stand Your Ground. Mainly because.. well that buff will only last you a few seconds, and the Zergs usually don’t die that fast. Where as wall of reflection has a LOT more potential. People often don’t expect that wall, and on choke point, that wall does a kittenton of damage to them.
On another note, was anybody suffering some major lag throughout WVW today, As a leader there is nothing worse when you’re trying to shout directions and co-ordinate your group when infact you have no idea where things are or whats happening. I know a few of our guild/other people on the server were having the same problem [no i’m not trying to make excuses].
Yes. We all greatly suffered from laggin issues.
Very entertaining!

Introduction
Equilibrium started out as a small group of people back in 2006. Ever since the guild has grown out to be much more than that small group of people. We are now spread among several games and you will see our biggest influences in Aion and Guildwars 2. We were and still are, very dedicated to creating a well known community where you can feel at home. Where, eventhough skill matters, we are willing to dedicate our time to loyal and dedicated players. Making sure they fit right in.
We are located on the European server: “Desolation”
Hierarchy
We believe that a guild cannot succeed without proper leadership and we therefore chose to have a solid hierarchy. Every game we play, will have the following hierarchy;
: The hierarchy will be determined by the leading forces of the community.
: Exceptional members literally translated; People who have gone the extra mile for the guild, senior members. (READ: These positions will not be given away lightly)
For a more detailed history of our guild and its leader; Equilibrium Guild History
Our Goal
Our goal is to become a well known and respected community. This in regards to all of the games we play as “Equilibrium”. We aim to become a very colourfull community of experienced people in both PvP and PvE.
What do we offer?
Equilibrium offers a varied range of perks and chances to grow. We have a high level of dedication and offer experience, a name and a wide range of utilities.
Every new member will be able to rise to the top. If you show us what we want to see, without acting beyond your comfortzone (READ: Show us what we want to see, just because we want to) it will not be rewarded with proper titles and other non materialistic rewards.
What we expect?
We as a community try to look beyond just gaming-experience, seniority and age. What we expect from you in the end all comes down to our own moral standards. As stated above, there are certain things we offer you, in return we would love to see every application filled with all of those points. Realisticly speaking, not everyone will have the same level of dedication, experience, activity or sense of community and for that reason we also look at why you want to join our guild and if we think investing time would be a wise choice.
In short, we ask that should you not be as experienced as us, you will invest time and work into becoming a full-fledged guildmember, or possibly more. We will obviously assist you in every step along the line.
Alliances
As a well established guild, we of all people know that one cannot expect to be succesfull solely by its own. We are very much open to the idea of having alliances with other guilds in the future as we have had in the past. Since we currently have outdated guidelines for alliances, you can contact our community leader for details.
Our Policy
While we definitely do not consider ourself the elitest of guilds, we certainly have a highly skilled community. We consider it a privilege being part of this community and while at no means you should feel like you’re not good enough, you should keep in mind that the seniority and skill of many of our members will exceed the “usual” and thus deserve the proper respect.
We don’t ask you, you ask us.
