Ok, let me clarify
“Skips” generally require abuse of terrain to accomplish. An example of this would be “breaking out” of the map in order to bypass content. Doing such would be quantified as exploitation, using an exploit and profiting (“selling” runs) would be quantified as selling an exploit.
Without going into punishment or policy, we are going to be ramping up on GM coverage in dungeons. If you believe that someone is exploiting, please do report them in-game.
The burden is on the design team to fix these breakout spots (or even better fix the sequencing) if they disapprove of players using skill-ful leaps to skip bosses.
Banning players for being talented and creative is distrubing, and you should be ashamed of yourself for doing it. Especially when players like myself have offered to show the design team how such map-breakouts are performed and were ignored.
When, where, and by whom was the decision made where the burden was placed on the design team to fix the breakout spots?
There is no burden on the design team, the developers have told you, just now, very, very clearly what is and is not ok.
I find it hard to believe that any GW2 player could legitimately think breaking out of the map was a product of skill and intended game mechanics.
Sure, it’d be great if every game had perfectly crafted maps where nothing could go wrong ever, personally I’d rather not play such restrictive games, I was never much a fan of Shooters on Rails or whatever that game genre was called.
I can program my mouse to have macros (use a bunch of skills at once for example)
GW2 has stated every button press can only activate 1 skill (macros for many skills at once aren’t allowed)
The burden is not on arena net to figure out how to disable 3rd party macro tools, if they catch someone using a macro, that person will be banned, and that person will have deserved it.
Used to play interrupt builds in GW1, didnt think theyd be that great with GW2’s faster gameplay
Any way for me to get in the omfg arena from [EU] servers? I’d like to get some pointers for playing a mesmer like this
This was fixed with the august 13th hotfix update, much appreciated, thanks guys
So I was one of the people who had the bug where the cultivated seed I had from making the first back piece, was swapped with the Pet seed. Instead of waiting around for a fix, I decided to progress as much as possible.
I have the Pet seedling from combining the pet seed with the mists infused clay pot.
I have a grow lamp and I have plant food I have the heat stone.
The next step per the Dulfy guide is to go collect various objects to combine with the food/grow lamp/heat stone.
When I go to the various locations there is no option to retrieve the items I need.
Further research suggests there is a trigger for when the Cultivated backpiece is created, which I cannot create because the cultivated seed was switched for the pet seed. Personally, I would have set the trigger to whether or not a player has the pet seed/pet seedling, maybe even to check whether the pet seed/seeddling is in that characters inventory.
Please fix this somehow as I would very much like to get this backpiece as soon as possible
I have this issue as well,
The Exotic Backpiece was made prior to todays patch
Cultivated Seed was in character “Cinder Warforge” ’s inventory
The only Steps for the new backpiece that have been taken are the steps to prepare the Story reward objects (pollinate foxfire cluster, chaos radiation infused thing, and the waypoint dust thing)
These steps were done on a different character “Osirion”
Why would anet waste development time on something that is going to devolve into massive Zergs playing ring around the rosy for XP and Loot doing everything in their power to avoid fights?
There is plenty of content there already, but noone willing to use it the way its meant to be used
Hell I lack originality too, my charr is like 80% a copy of Smodur the unflinching, trying to copy his armor too… I just hate seeing a game with so much potential flush it all away by not taking itself seriously enough
They have been kittenting all over the lore since release… Seasonal mini games that break away from the norm are fine…
I disagree that top hats, monocle sand all the other crap is ok… When I play gw2 I want the loading screen for legacy of the foxfire, that’s the game I want to see. Then u got Scarlett, some half kitten ripoff of harlequin comin around with monsters that don’t fit the lore or theme at all… There was plenty of opportunity for comic relief and creativity before, now with every piece of new content the game looks more and more like some crappy indie mmo
Gw2 should be capitalizing off of its beautiful graphics and rich background
I havent played the game for a VERY long time, just redownloading now…
When I last played this build was just becoming popular, I find it indescribably funny that someone mentioned greatsword like gs is underused, from day 1 greatsword was the preferred weapon for warrior.
The number of builds built around spamming hundred blades in different ways is just disgusting. It says something that Hammer/Bow is the only combination using hammer that has ever had success on the Warrior… I’m willing to admit Hammer/Bow may have been overpowered when I used to use it, but Hammer desperately needs to be made usable in other builds
That video should explain everything, I know u said u use Axe/Axe, while axe/axe is considered by smarter people than myself to be worse I imagine u would use the same gear/traits
Hey guys, recent 80 Charr warrior here, came back a few months ago after a long break and was hoping some people could help me out.
I got a set of lvl 80 exotic berserker armor already for pve and some pvp builds, I also just picked up …shaman? (galrath’s) armor for the pineapple warrior build but before I go spending all the laurels guild comms and gold on my ascended accessories i wanted to try out a few more builds to decide what accessories to get.
I have played the Mace/Shield Greatsword skull crack build extensively (https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/professions/warrior/Skull-Cracker-V-3-0-The-Counter-Meta)
And as stated have recently started playing the Pineapple warrior (https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/professions/warrior/Video-The-Pineapple-Warrior-2-The-RRW-Build)
I’m also very interested in the confusion on interrupt builds people have started to theorycraft
Are there any other warrior builds I should know about and test before I decide what equipment to buy, really dont want to waste anything.
Build would be for WvWvW, solo queue PvP, and just general running around in PvE.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
