When I bought the slingshot, it didn’t add to my count. I was 5/7 at the time. After getting the Moto Breath, I’m stuck at 6/7.

I have:

Stick
Slingshot
Bomb
Whip
Candle
Shovel
Moto Breath

and the heart and 500 Bag, but I don’t think those count.

Couldn’t find a thread for this, so I’ll ask myself. Has anyone found the shortcut for the Bachelor of Pioneering Achievement?

!!!Spoilers. Don’t read if you don’t want to be spoiled!!!

Our group has found 6 of the 7 hidden rooms in World 1, Zone 1.

Three or so were from bombs. The shops seem to count as hidden rooms as well. You can also bomb the waterfall. Anyone know where the last one is?

The maze did not count, which we found odd.

Trade with the Jotun Tribe

in Lore

This is a level 8 Heart in the Wayfarer Foothills zone.

Albin wants you to find valuables around the area to sell to the Jotun for their currency called ‘Runestones’. They’re peaceful and buying things because they’re desperate for a little wealth.

If you merely go out and find objects and sell to the Jotun who will pay the most, the quest will take some time. However, you can exploit their economy by buying objects from the Jotun and selling it to other Jotun for a profit. I bought some sort of pole one of the Jotun had lying around for 4 runestones. I ended up selling it to the Jotun next to him for 8 runestones. That’s 4 runestones I pulled out of their economy, never to return. That’s an economy the tribe seems to need.

In your exploitation, you gain runestones for the heart much more quickly… but the Thank you!’ mail you get for pulling runestones out of their community seems rather positive for the harm you did to get those runestones.

“Thought it may not seem like much, the trading we did with those Jotun will make a lasting impact on their tribes. Hopefully they will learn from this experience and continue to trade peacefully with each other for years to come. —Albin Chronicler, Durmand Priory”

I just thought this was a neat little story. Perhaps I’m thinking about it too much.
