Paroxysm is recruiting all types of players now.
We run Guild Bonuses often such as 5% Experience, 10% Magic Find, 15% Karma, and 10% Gathering. We are prepped and ready for the Guild Events that are due to come out on the 26th of Feb.
The core of our group is a bunch of people that have known each other for many years, some of us have played MMO’s together for 7+ years. Including Guild Wars, and World of Warcraft. We are a fun bunch of people that really seem to get along nicely. Sitting at around 50 players right now and looking to increase.
We have a very strong presence in PvE, we have several people always working on World Completion on alts again, and we are actively involved in World Events such as Tequatl, Shatterer, and Claw of Jormag. We also have a bit of fun continuously farming the Cursed Shore event loops, seems to be a common stomping grounds for us when we have nothing better to do.
There are organized dungeon runs often, along with Fractals of the Mists runs. By organized I mean someone asks if the guild would like to go and it usually becomes a full guild run. We schedule them usually a day out when we do schedule them, nothing on the books though, no commitment. People are usually willing to help out others get a dungeon run done if needed, or to fill in when someone leaves a group unexpectedly and needs a quick fill in.
We have a mild WvW presence but we do make a showing about daily. We are looking for more members to bring this part of the guild forward, officer positions are available for those that are willing to become lead WvW officers.
We have an affiliate xPvP guild that you can associate with if wanted, this guild has people from many different servers so that finding a PvP group or partner is made easier. Just as stated above, you can take on the role of PvP officer and recruit and run the PvP aspect of the guild if you are looking for an officer position in a guild.
We have a completely private TeamSpeak3 server that is up 24×7, that is available for guild members to use during events or dungeons with guests to make runs easier as well. Or you can just use it to hang out and chat. There are also channels set aside so you can play other games with friends or guild members, we understand that GW2 may not be the air you breathe like some of us.

I ran it a bunch of times on my Asura Guardian, I couldn’t get beyond the big leap down. After that I tried in on my Norn Guardian and made it to the clock face first go. No passive speed boots at all, I found the Norn to be much easier because you can obviously see yourself in a crowd.
Instinct kicks in, I go to hit whirl and I leap away. This is just not going to be fun for a very long time. If Wrath was too powerful wouldnt a dmg nerf have been good enough? Reorganizing the skills has only made it hard for anyone that has spent time on a guardian to adjust.
