Guild Wars 2

This question probably has already been asked, but would appreciate any answer someone willing to give, but is the staff a viable dps weapon choice for the revenant?
I just can’t seem to make a decision between starting as a revenant or guardian (which I wanna take to bow wielding Dragon Hunter.) When the revenant first came out I tried the staff but quit it very quickly, and now I’m thinking maybe to quickly. Has anyone any tips or opinions about which I should try first?

I don’t know exactly where to put this tread, so if it belongs somewhere else just tell me but I have a question about the Sylvari cultural Warden armor. Why is it you can’t color the area around the belt? It stays a greyish color. I thought it was the skin color from my Sylvari, but with another character whose skin color is bright green, it stays more or less the same color. Is this normal? Or did I do something? xD
