also add that everytime they do a “hotfix” to correct one of these bugs…it eats up food that you had running with a metabolic primer. i’ve had to use a new food everyday even tho i have 8 hours left on the buff lol.

add another – last charge of ice bow drops the ice bow from your hands and freezes mid animation of the ice bow attack while showing your normal weapon bar.

This was a big issue a few months ago and apparently it still exists. 2 people in a FoTM 50 party today (myself included) did not receive the bonus chest. This has happened off and on in the past for me and of course Anet can do nothing to reimburse you so, perhaps taking another look at the problem would be useful. There’s no reason to do FoTM 50’s except for the loot…so remind me why would we do them if there’s a bug not fixed that we would event get a chance to get screwed over on RNG on the bonus chest lol.

ok you are talking about hotjoins which no one here is. we’re talking about ranked play.

something has to be done, either make a rank requirement or rank brackets to atleast try to adjust the disparity of ranked que to see what happens. its either steam roll or be rolled and the class make up really isn’t the issue. even tho i cringe if i see 3 rangers or 3 theives on one time. match making needs a ton of work, never should have more than 2 thieves on one team. never should have more than 2 of anything for that matter.

simple additions like a class check to prevent a bogus match from being created. i have no idea how the matches are created now, since lately i’m getting grouped with people that think ranked is hot join. so somehow lvl 80 ranked players that score high in matches are getting grouped with new people to “balance” the match? honestly any type of explanation would be nice.

solo, duo que, doesn’t matter. its something to do with points, rank, or something else. i don’t get it.

this issue started roughly after the festival of the four winds patch. i’ve had zero connection issues for years with gw2. random dc’s from gw2 while i’m in skype and the internet and so forth are still working. sometimes i can go for hours, sometimes i can go for 10 minutes before being disconnected with a error 42.

ports 443, 6112, 6600 are confirmed opened. they were port forwarded correctly before this issue started, and just to make sure i tried virtual server instead of port forwarding, and even tried putting the gw2 pc in the dmz zone. made no difference. ports were always open and did not fix the disconnects.

gw2 is added to firewall exception list

which did not work. i might add that i do use a host file so my dns is disabled. so did not flush dns or reset winsockets

really run out of things to check. talked to my router tech support, roadrunner isp tech support, and motorola tech support to rule out any hardware issues.

be nice to see some anet tech support on this…

1. the box is clearly labeled “Box of Berserker’s Draconic Armor” which is a level 80 exotic set.

2. what would any person in any place or time period…past, present or future need to research here? are you getting other items in this game where you read one thing and get something completely different? i’m not…

3. even if its priced substantially lower than what you’d expect 3 gold per piece, that does not mean that everyone is a crafter in this game. often times bulk recipes in mmo’s reduce the shear amount of required items when the cost is high to acquire the recipe.

4. don’t bother posting this nonsense. i’m not pulling my hair out over this, i lost 9 gold in the first day or so to it. sure it stressed me out and ruined a bit of the fun of the game for me, but by no means do i expect to just take the loss. i want compensated. either the box of draconic i purchased or the total refund of gold. thats fair…and theres no logic in any defense on anets fault. its a bug, and its being exploited pretty heavily. i’m not a anet hater, but this is really out of control.

seems like customer support for gw2 is going to be seriously lacking.

whoever is selling them isn’t to blame. its clearly the box item either named incorrectly or the contents are not correct after double clicking. hopefully anet gets caught up with tickets and fixes stuff like this. a month from now people will have just replaced the armor they got ripped off on through bugs like this.

they need to press G then accept guild invite, then press “represent” and then they’ll be “In” the guild.
