No, I dont think that is it. For example, lets take Almuten Mansion. The lanscape there even with everything on max runs at 60fps solidly, then I face the Mansion and I lose 10 FPS. I have walked all the way around the mansion looking at it, then away from it. And I lose 10 fps everytime I look at it. Another example is Butcher Block, face it and I lose 20 fps face away and Im back to 60. That aint CPU related. I have overclocked it and back again with no changed to FPS. Also in these instances I reduce ALL my graphics settings to lowest and the same result happens.

Can anyone over any advice or solace? Did I screw up my machine build?

Thats a benign and assanine comparison to make when our systems are clearly not the same. Apples and oranges, Im looking for tech help, not pie in the sky comments mon ami. Please be constructive.

So Im getting a solid 60 FPS in some places, and drastic dips to 45 FPS in others. For example, in the Wayfarer Hills, I get a solid 61 with settings on max. Obviously my FPS dips in major cities. However, lets say I go to Diessa Plateau, with the same settings. I get FPS drops to 45. I turn down all the settings, bizarrely, the FPS stays around kitten. There seems to be a link to when Im looking in the direction of smoke. But there are some siuations where there is no smoke, but a FPS dip, like in the Human starting zone where you help the farmer by attacking the bandits in the cave – you turn to face the giant castle (on high and low settings) and there is a massive FPS drop. Is this normal for my system? Whats goin on?

I noticed on the Death Shroud tooltip, that it phrases the grammar incorrectly with regards to the spell increasing damage based on distance. Thought Id let you know :-)
