Sounds awesome Kit, looking forward to it
So, raised a new ticket on the website this time, so was able to include a different email address and received both a ticket number and an email response – lesson learnt, I won’t do it in game if there is a next time.
I have now reached the same point as Meld, with the blame being laid at my ISPs door and packet loss. But if that was the case, how can I have no disconnects during PVE and WvW play, but when I go into a story instance, I get disconnected at the exact same point every time? I’m just struggling to understand the logic here.
3rd ticket raised, still no email or in-game contact
OK, thanks for the advice. I had no filters set at all on my email, but just in case I’ve now put some in to promote GW2 email to my inbox for definite. As I’ve received other emails from them in the past (password resets, log in confirmations) I don’t believe this is the problem but I’m going to err on the side of caution.
I’ve also just confirmed that the disconnect problem occurs using my GW2 Mac client as well, at exactly the same place as it occurs using the Windows client.
Well, I decided to create a second ticket a few hours ago and I still haven’t had an email response, automated or not, for either of my tickets now.
Are you with Virgin Media?
Yes, I am.
Well, it wasn’t in either my Inbox or Junk folder, and as I had to swap over to the OS X partition to check that, and I hadn’t done that since I created the ticket, so I’m convinced that it didn’t get as far as me/it hasn’t been sent.
Orinku: did you at least get the automated email confirming your ticket? If not, check your spam folder (some email systems treat incorrectly identify that email as spam, which then makes it difficult to communicate with Customer Service).
If you did get that email, has it been more than 3 days without a human response? If yes, you can escalate to the sticky thread setup for that purpose: https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/support/support/GW2-Tickets-for-Review-3-days-older-1.
Nope, no email. Guess I’ll raise another ticket then.
I’m having exactly the same problems on multiple episodes of the Living Story Season 2 with multiple characters, I’ll get towards the end of the episodes and at the same point on every episode I get disconnected with the same error code given.
I repaired my client but this had no effect, I have raised a ticket but no response yet. Other than this problem, my connection is rock solid when playing GW.
Running Windows 8.1, via Bootcamp on an iMac (27-inch, Late 2012).
Got some weird graphical glitches going on, very similar to ones from last year, seems to happen in any map I’m on.

I’ve had crashes on trying to enter the Mad King Labryinth from LA and when opening the TP, again in LA.

Bump – I have the gamma change issue too, it seems to be connected with displaying a new window, either when the TP window is opened, or if I Cmd+Tab to swap to a different program – I’m playing GW full screen.
Not got my Mac details to hand but its a late 2012 iMac.
