It’s easy to neglect the under water mobs in the tally with this but really how often are you underwater? Perhaps I should ask how fun is under water combat?

I don’t think anyone is really arguing what I said above or responding to me specifically, however.. Even animals that are somewhat different models & skins share the same bones/animation… I expect that .. At this scope and scale you have to recycle some assets if you ever plan to release.

My response is geared to the original poster. As you go along in the game yea you will encounter new mobs but many if not most will be obvious variants of what you’re already seen (with new skins and or modified models).. again assuming you’ve tried all say up to lvl 25 zones

re-skinned and renained mostly, not even always re-skinned. If you complete lower level zones from each region don’t expect to see too much variety after that.

That’s not exactly uncommon in the mmo genre. They might differ slightly in abilities/actions but not by much.

That said nice animations for what is there verses more variety that has less tuning is preferable.

I can’t say I have too much to add to this topic other than giving an example that had me scratching my head. I believe it was a daily achievement that I accidentally finished on a low lvl alt (for farming low level mats).. I got Black lion picks.. nice right? I hadn’t gotten them before and put them in my bank for my main only to later find out they were soul bound, not account bound making them essentially worthless. Other things I have gotten like repair canisters are account bound and make sure they go to my lvl 80 main (where they have the most value).

It seems odd considering i have also picked up black lion salvage kits but they are account bound not soul bound. Thinking further I might have gotten the black lion picks from a key/chest.. I don’t remember.

Regardless I don’t see the point in the end, especially in this case, as its a finite tool kit and my characters share bank slots, gold,etc

I’m not raging about this but it is annoying, can’t even sell them.
