LOS on siege stuff is stupid since all classes got a AOE dot they drop and kill ur AC and voila – wasted coin and resources.

@bigfishcjp – Killing people while advancing and just plain camping is totaly diffrent. The guys he feared off can get back up and continue on while if you get camped you cant do anything.
They got the best view from the trap release spot, you cant destroy their AC’s and its impossible to get up there without getting killed. Not to mention you cant jump unless you get a perm speed buff since you are in combat all the time + crippling arrow kinda negates ur speed buff so ur still stuck down there.
As i said earlier, killing or ruining while you progress the puzzle is 1 thing but plain camping for the lulz should be punished.

Im guessing all of you that say its a pvp area or whatever excuse you pulled outa ur bum the last few posts. Is probably becouse you have never been stuck in that arena for hours on end, or you where one of the guys camping up there.

Want to know the best part, where they are camping. Its only like max 2min to the treasure chest, and the siege stuff you get is anything from 2x rams to MAX 1 golem + something else.
Camping the same spot like that should be punished. General pvp and using the trap system is fine.
Ruining for others while advancing the puzzle is also fine , but camping after you got your reward to ruin for others is known as griefing.

Vizunah Square [FR] and Far Shiverpeaks, it's just not a fair game.

WvWvW will always be unbalanced becouse of; no lifers, night raiders or whatever you want to call them. Even people from other timezones breakes the balance. You cant expect a server with a population on the same timezones to stop working and shift to night time. It does not work that way. So unless Anet blocks IP’s from outside the EU and US timezones it will never be balanced. Simple fact.
And it will ruin the whole WvWvW aspect. Atm its not a WvWvW , Its timezone + night raiders winning the game. And unless Anet puts in limitations, WvWvW fits better in a garbage can then being in the game.

Its kinda worse for the EU servers, we got the unofficial aussie servers. That means they got 20+H peaktime in WvWvW and that seriously screws over balance. Its not even fun to play vs that server since they always have organized people playing. They might have max 4h downtime spread out during the 24 hours of the day.

Sure we might win sometimes during daytime, but when night comes the aussie’s come in to play and thats a downtime for any NORMAL EU server. And when we face that server we always get a inactive third server that never does WvWvW.
Its getting boring as hell.

The worst part about this “feature” is in WvWvW.
Lets say you defend a keep, you get there early and there is only like 10-20 people outside when you check and start attacking from the walls. You see their numbers going down and think “yeah, its time to get out there and clean up”.
But when you get close to the visable players you insta die and suddenly the other 50+ players load. This has happend more then once and its a major pain and totaly ruins the experience. Try hitting invis players with a arrow cart, same problem.
Its also kind of a pain in the huge events where alot of people gather, since 90% of the stuff isn’t even loading correctly becouse of it. And suddenly you see 100 corpses doing their death animation AGAIN and that can lag you to hell.

We really need a option to increase the draw distance of players/monsters or a button so we can just turn it on and off. This feature might be exploited in WvWvW , send lots of players to attack. The defenders cant see all the people becouse the game limits them to “save their fps” and then you build up siege equip without them even seeing it.

He didnt glitch out like that for me but when he entered the phase where he spawns 2 lesser eye’s he got stuck in that phase untill i killed him.
The part that bugs me is that the 2 eye’s where still spamming away even after the next part of the mission starts. It was a major pain to handle the next part with those eye’s spamming like mad killing all ur npc’s.
Managed to get it done tho, but when everything was done, the eye’s was still spamming away, kinda ruined the whole thing for me.
Even the music died completely during that story mission.
