Guild Wars 2

Hello,

I’m a Guild Leader on Dragonbrand. With the recent $10 sales, I have been able to get a few friends to want to try the game, but they aren’t able to start because the server status is usually “Full.” I managed to get one friend on a few weeks ago by watching the World Selection screen like a hawk, but I wanted to know if there are any exceptions made to the “Full” status for new accounts.

The guild banners that are dropped only show the guild tag, it would be nice if:

• The full guild name should be displayed when you receive a buff from a guild banner
• The guild name would be listed as the “Source” of the buff provided

This feature would be nice for the following reasons:

1. Community – Knowing the guilds that are dropping banners to help our the public around events and dungeons fosters a strong server community
2. Recognition – it is nice to know that people are using your banners and they are able to appreciate you for it (it would also be interesting to know the number of players claiming buffs from banners in the guild tab)
3. Recruitment – getting your guild name out there with banners may attract players with a common set of interests
4. Curiosity – it is nice to see all the guilds that are out there and not being able tell which guild just buffed you is
