Whilst everyone is at each others’ throats here, I want to say that the OP’s call to Penny Pinchers International for me was more an expression to rally everyone who thinks about how they subscribe and to whom. Pity that the marketers of GW2 did not think the psychology of selling to two very diverse groups in your customer base through properly. Pity. What these marketers now have is the backlash of players feeling very disappointed, even betrayed, because they (ANET?) have overlooked the importance of FAIRNESS in marketing. Trust have been breached and to fix it some seriously concrete action is needed.
