You can use a middle-ground build, but there is always a trade off.
It’s just user’s problem to approach his/herself’s balance point.
Back to the article, are you just complaining about mesmer or the whole gw2 mechanism?
For I have 6 class in 80, I don’t think any of them can do everything well in only one build.
Can do something doesn’t mean can do it as well as others.

I saw the following things form the original post:
1.“I’ve played gw1 and have 3 legendary, so fact is what I said.”
2.“I just don’t want to use different armor for different builds, because I didn’t have to in gw1”
3.dungeons running limited available builds(really??)

mesmer can play in many different style and is fun, if you don’t insist gw1 style.

Someone just keeps asking SEA players to answer his/her question, so here I come.
AS an Asian player who participate wiping out wvw map every night, I can easily tell you why.
“We want to get DB to higher tier by ourselves, not just join another server.”
Is this clear enough??

It’s a little bit complicated , so I’l use a detail list to describe the bug I meet.

1. My character is a lv80 human female mesmer.
2. I was using full set of COE berserker armor , but the rune on them were changed into Superior rune of Dolyak , and the outlook expect the head armor , were transform into human’s T3 armor.
3. Here’s the bug :
Apparently I’m not using Superior rune of Golemancer, but when my clone got hit, it often summon a Golem Mark I.
I thought it was come from other player’s rune at first, but after some solo playing, I discover it was due to my clone.

So, I believe the clue is :
1. The armor were originally a full set COE armor with Superior rune of Golemancer.
2. Changing the rune doesn’t let clone inherit the new rune, but the older one.

It’s not a serious bug, but I thought it is still a bug.
Hope providing this information would help

Lock this discussion wont make players buy it, but just expel players from this game.
Think about how many players you(Anet) would lose for this ascended thing.

Ascended thing sucks.

If ascended gears are better than exotic gears, than what’s the difference between GW2 and WoW? or even other Korean OLGs? This news really make me feel disappointed at GW2.
