I have the same problem as mentioned above. It started today also, i have been fine all week so far, same set-up, same connection.
Can anyone shed some light on the constant disconnection issue? I know that it has to be an issue with ArenaNet, as so many of us are having the same problem, and nothing my end has changed from when it was working fine.
So, me and my friends decided to have our first try at an explorable mode dungeon.
Although we were constantly getting destroyed by the overpowered and unbalanced groups in Caldeus Manor, we continued trying because we had spent so much time trying to finish it.
5 hours later, and spending perhaps 30s (you may laugh, but thats a 1/3 of my money at level 50) repairing over and over, because the mobs are OVERPOWERED, we made it to the end, somehow.
Finally, an enemy we can actually fight, Vallog wasn’t too bad, he was going down pretty quickly. ‘Hey guys, this is awesome! Imagine all the cool loot we’ll get, and tokens’.
Boom.
Just like that, in an instant, Arenanet destroyed our collective hopes and dreams.
FIVE HOURS we spent constantly getting killed but slowly progressing, just because we wanted to finish so badly. Because it would be worth it in the end right? We’ll get cool stuff…and tokens to get cool stuff!.
Nope.
Arenanet, today, this day, you have KILLED my joy for your game.
There was no warning to log out, no in-game message, no twitter message, nothing on reddit, nothing ANYWHERE even hinting that there will be downtime.
I had so much faith in you guys, despite this I still do…but I am very upset about this, I expected so much more from you.
