Guild Wars 2

For the last 12 or so hours I’ve been getting massive amounts of wierd server lag everywhere. It’s impossible to do anything at all, since every single thing I do pretty much times out, the few times something does happen, it’s at least a minute later.
Everything else is working fine, I can see the chat scrolling by, people using their skills, everything is normal except for me. It’s like being in a dream where you dont exist; can’t use skills, can’t talk, nobody can see me, and yet I’m still there, walking around it all.
All other games and internet related stuff are working as per their usual, it’s really only GW2.
Anyone else getting this crap? It’s starting to piss me off…

In case anyone has this problem… (Solved BTW)
Deleted game files, copied an old backup version of game files I had on a hard drive from when I transferred to my brothers PC; luckily they were only from about 3 or 4 patches ago.
Started it up, it patched it all over again, and it worked. Apparently something went wrong with the download/install of the newest patch that royally messed up and broke the game.

Downloaded the newest patch today (The october 24th or 25th one, haven’t played last two days). Now whenever I start the game, I get a black screen for a split second, it flickers a few times, and the program goes straight to ‘’Not Responding’’ and sits there for evermore. I get past the login screen just fine, I only hit issues when it tries to launch the actual game. Not sure if relevant, but the only way to gain access to anything other than an invisible window is to kill the process in task manager.
Tried running as admin, safe mode, restarted PC, etc etc.
Here’s hoping this is a known issue with the patch and I just couldn’t find anything related.
