Is there a guide for what to do when entering HoT?
I was really on a high after killing Zhaitan and looking forward to getting the glider mastery in HoT. I found my way to Silverwastes and proceeded to get hopelessly confused. The story line wasn’t as clear as it had been up to now, and there didn’t seem to be any hints of nearby POIs or Mastery/Hero Points. I tried to find my way into the tunnels to pick up waypoints only to find that some event had to be completed before they would open again. So, the only waypoint I could depend on was on the far eastern edge of the zone. Then there were the caravans that seemed to start and stop inexplicably. I found my way further west into the jungles and into a labyrinth that seem to send me into deadends with destinations always above me and no clear path to get them. Then to top it off, the masteries seem to flip haphazardly between the second phase of gliding, to mushroom hopping, to crafting without me doing anything (at least I don’t think I’m doing anything.)
I’ve gone back to leveling an alt rather than face this frustration.
Thanks for the advice and clarification. Based on this spec, is there any reason to add any critical chance? It seems that if I play it well and swap stances appropriately, that my critical chance is near to 100%, right?
Thanks, Guys! Putting it all together, I think I will level crafting a bit later in the game when I have more gold to waste, have accumulated mats and while it might still offer XP.
I’ve only leveled three crafts to level 150, thinking I would craft my own gear and weapons. But so far, I’ve spent about 10 times more to craft things then it costs to buy them outright. OK, so I leveled a bit while doing it, but not enough to make the expense worthwhile, and there are backpacks. Is there something that I’ll get from crafting that I’m not seeing yet?
I’m level 35 Shiro/Mallyx S/A build; doing a bit of stance swapping. Invocation 3.1.1. What’s a good balance between precision and ferocity? Because of the fury gains, is ferocity a somewhat wasted stat?
Thanks guys!!! Have fun!
I simply want to be sure I’m not missing anything while leveling up. I’m in my upper-20s now. I’ve kept up with my personal story, I’ve leveled two crafts in sync with my level and I’ve acquired enough hero points to be ready for the elite specialization skill at 31. I do the 3-part dailies. Now I’m going back to finish the 15-25 level zones across the map. I don’t PvP yet and haven’t done any dungeons (not sure I even can yet.) Am I missing anything?
