Hello everyone!
I don’t really like posting on the forums (just reading; this will be my first post), but I encountered a problem. I searched for a solution (forums, submitted a bug, contacted support) and didn’t find any, so I decided to ask here. So here’s the problem:
I got a character, which was 21 before specializations patch and I recently started playing it again. When I logged in I had one specialization (wilderness survival) fully trained and some skills unlocked. Then I started unlocking others (got additional hero points from hero challenges), leveling, etc. and after 4 levels I noticed that I didn’t get any more hero points while leveling up. According to wiki I should get 12 from that 4 levels I gained. So I was convinced that it was bug and I’m couple of points short. So I did my calculations on how much hero points a level 25 character should have and according to wiki it is 44. My character had 90 points spent on skills/specialization 1 unspent and -19 from hero challenges. That’s 72 base points on level 25 character. It turned out that in fact I have too much hero points (28!). I have 2 possible explanations:
1. The system after the patch allocated the hero points in such a way I could have a similar build to the one before the patch and I hadn’t got sufficient hero points. So I got everything needed unlocked anyway and now I won’t get any more hero points till I even the difference.
2. It’s just bugged.
I just would like to know what is the case, because I have some low level toons I’d like to play and level up (didn’t check them yet, but I think they’re all in the same situation – all have one full spec unlocked which is 60 points by itself), but if it’s a bug I will just stop playing them for now and wait till it is solved.
I would really appreciate the help, please share if you had any problems like that or have any possible explanations for that.
Thanks in advance!
