That sounds like a legit thought that would at least minimize the risks of not getting your well deserved influence. Thanks for the tip!

I found this on the wiki about influence:

“Bugs: Under certain circumstances, you might not be generating influence for your guild. (Other symptoms include not being able to access the guild vault or buy from guild armorer.) To fix this, represent a different guild and then re-represent the original one. You might have to do this on multiple characters.”

I don’t think this will help us with getting out influence back though, but it does show that there are occasions where earning influence for your guild go wrong. Maybe we two where unlucky that guesting another world triggered this bug. We are generating influence for our guild now… or at least I think we do. I will definitely check that! :P

Anyone else who has experienced a thing like this before? Losing 2,000 influence for a little guild as ours is just not done!

Attached is the screenshot of three members that did receive the 1,000 influence. This doesn’t proof that I and my fellow guildy that didn’t get the influence, did use the commendation, but I am sure that their will be a continuation error in the logs somewhere.

I was still guest. Not sure about my friend though. But like the quote above from the wiki explains, that should not matter. I do think that the bug is related to that.

No, the history doesn’t show my influence nor that of the other guildy that didn’t get the 1,000 influence. It also doesn’t show the “…”. It does show the 1,000 influence for the other three guildies I did the dungeon with. So I guess the mysterie is still unsolved.

Edit. Herder.9806 beat me to it, I see. He is one of the three players that did get the influence.

We still didn’t get the influence, so there is definitely no (short) delay.

Hi,

Me and 4 other guildies did the last dungeon in Arah this evening and we all got a commendation for 1,000 influence. We all used it, but my influence and that of one other guildy never arrived. That’s 2,000 influence and for our little guild that’s quirw a lot. What went wrong?

Additional information is that Arah was closed in our world and we went as guests to another world.
