Alpha is a very easy and tedious boss once you figure out his pattern, my best tip would be never stand close to any1 or your gonna get swarmed by red circles , if you do that spam dodge and you might evade it.
As a thief spaming cluster bomb with 3 init per 10 secs and some acrobatics traits alongside with caltrops make the encounter rather easy for me , i manafw to hold a side by my own while the rest of the group strugles with theirs.
I was never kicked from a dungeon group , in gw2 ever only once when i lost in BC and I didnt have a clue in how to get to AC and I already stalled them out so that was really me asking for it.
I only talk in chat if its important and im generally cool with stuff I dont mind helping and giving advice and I rarelly mess things up, so id pretty much never had any problems with people I pugged with.
If you were kicked before the last boss you probably did smth to kitten them off think about it.
And you talked about wow , but wow is even worse people sometimes kicked me mid dungeon run to put their lazy friend who just logged in. And why? because they dont give a kitten to you they will never see you again and so they simply dont care, so dont go talking about going to play wow because gw2 has trolls and griefers wow has one the worsts if not the worst comunity in the history of mankind.
