Yes, a sword/dagger set will do similar damage to P/P with the right level of weapon. You’ll see even greater damage if you use Sword/Pistol. Sword/Pistol is particularly strong for leveling since the #3 hits hard and you can drop a blind field on enemies that hit hard with #5.

As for using the trading post, wait a little bit after hitting “o”. Sometimes it’s just slow to load. You can also talk to a trading post person in major cities.

I have tried just waiting in the tradeING post it jad s loading circle then after a while it goes away and it’s a blank page and yhe exact same thing happened when I was in LA at the npcz
Alright I appreciate the input about the weapons that makes me.feel better that can at least be comparable

Hey everyone start off saying I’m new to the forums so if this would be better off placed els wear I’m sorry move it as needed.
Alright I have a real basic question/problem.
IIA new to gw2 (I jave played maxed other games such as gw1 and aion ext) but I jave a level 20 thief and was duel wielding sword/dagger and I really enjoy the play style with it but a friend got me two pistols and I tried those and would 1-2 hit everything my level, AZ with the sword/dagger combo I would fight the creatures for 30 seconds or so.
Now I will say the pistols were much higher quality weapons for my level both being green weps asy dagger was blue and the sword white.
So my question is if I got equally good sword/dagger combo would it be similar to the pistols in effectiveness?
Because right now their nowhere near comparable but the weps stats weren’t either from the melee to the pistols.

Also another question to try and knock out two in 1.
When I try and open up up the tradeING post thing while pressing the “o” key it won’t load anything just a blank page. And it does the same thing on my girlfriends account does anyone know abutting about this problem, being new to the game and all hard for me to buy a better weapon set without it. Thanks everyone
