Same for me. I don’t understand it. My friends say it’s easy, and no matter on how many portals I close, it does’nt work for me. In 2 days the event will be over, so I hope this will be fixed in time.
Edit: It may have been mere luck, or I might have found the problem. This time I did get the achievement but I didn’t use waypoints to travel from one event to the other. Maybe it works for you guys too? Anyways, good luck!

With the new kites people said they wish they were parachutes. Now I was thinking, we have diving goggles, why not add some points where you can jump off with a parachute or something.
