Guild Wars 2

Okay so I am running the game on a Mac. I bought it right when the game came out and it ran flawlessly for the duration of my playing. I haven’t been on in months and I went to get back on to play with a friend and now I can’t log in. I can log in at my apartment, but the wireless connection there isn’t good enough to actually play the game on. I’m at my moms house trying to play and when I try to log in I get this error message:
“The game client is unable to gain access to the log-in server at this time. This is most commonly caused by firewall or router settings, security applications, or connecting through a campus network.” and the error code is 42:1000:7006:892
My firewall is off and I tried the solution where I change one of the lines in the cider settings.plist file to <string>— Gw2.exe /clientport 80</string> and all that did was make it impossible to open the application at all so I’ve now had to uninstall and reinstall the game client twice because of that. Is there anything else I can do to be able to log in?

I think it sounds good; if you want to go with the naming conventions (i looked up specifics before naming mine, Zedda) and the name is typically one syllable for a male, two for a female, with a harsh should near the end such as a “k” “j” “x” or “d” (but not limited to those of course) and if female ending in a vowel, also with a double letter.

I love my Asura, I’m brand new to the game and Asura is what I started with, she’s just so little and goofy, plus the culture and mannerisms are just too grand. Then of course as a ranger I love that I can have pretty much any pet and it will always be twice my size.
