Guild Wars, what is Guild Wars about? About guilds of course, definition for Guild: An association of persons of the same trade or pursuits, formed to protect mutual interests and maintain standards. There are a lot of guilds out there, big, small, organized or not, strict or laidback; focus on certain things such as PvE, PvP, or even farming. Everyone has certain goals they want to accomplish, but who do they accomplish them with? Is it your guild? Which one? With who? Still friends with them? Are they still around?

Well, Mighty Excalibur Crew [MEC] is a guild. This guild doesn’t focus on the number of members, reputation, or individual skill level. The Guild focuses on the guild members. The guild does everything together in PvP and PvE. We use mumble to strengthen the bond with our members. If they don’t have mumble, they will not be ignored because our guild chat is active as well. We do encourage them to have mumble because it enhances the gaming experience and provides a better time with the members and the game. The guild will also do events and games that no other guilds will do. We like creativity and originality when it comes to builds, teams, events, and other activities. Mighty Excalibur Crew [MEC] is unique compared to other guilds. The overall rating surpasses the “hardcore guilds” that only have one attribute and no bond with between their members. For example, we don’t focus on one thing because guilds die out that way or it causes guild hopping which doesn’t solve the problem.

Also, doing one thing repetitively becomes dull, boring, and makes a member get burnt out from the activity. We try to keep things new, fun, and enjoyable. Mighty Excalibur Crew [MEC] is friendly, helpful, and doesn’t ignore its members, but we do not baby the members either. Members go through a screening process (interview) which is done by one the officers and/or the guild leader. We want people with the same philosophy as us because it will continue this great guild. No matter what we will keep growing as a guild which only strengthens us as a family. If a member leaves, we ask for feedback so we can improve the guild for the future. Also, we ask members of what they think of the guild so that we can make this the best guild fit for all the members. You can tell by now we really work with the individual members in the guild. Therefore, we are looking for other members to join us with this common goal (philosophy), like Guild Wars says, “Never Fight alone”. For this reason we welcome those who wish to help carry on the legacy of the Mighty Excalibur Crew [MEC].
