Here are my specs.

-i7 2960XM @ 2.7Ghz (3.7Ghz Turbo)
-16GB DDR3
-Nvidia 580M

I’ve overclocked my GPU to 810 with the memory at 1885 and the CPU multiplier has been changed to 47 instead of the base value. I figure the game should be running better than it is. I don’t have a paging file so everything is set right into the RAM. My FPS is around 15-22 and sometimes drops to 5. If anyone has any suggestions I’ll try whatever. Thanks!

I’m in the beginning forest area. I don’t do PvP so taking that out of the equation, I can’t begin to understand why the game runs so poorly. Even Aion runs better and that’s using Crytek’s engine. The game’s using Dx9 so that also makes me wonder what’s going on.

So here are the important specs for my laptop.

-i7-2960XM @ 2.7Ghz (3.7Ghz Turbo Mode)
-Nvidia GeForce 580m
-Bigfoot Networks Killer 1103 N wifi card
-16GB DDR3 @ 1600

I’m currently using the 314.22 drivers which are the latest to be released I believe other than the beta ones. I’ve tried Razer’s Gameboost program which doesn’t help much. I am rendering at 1080p, however even with the settings set to best performance, I run at 15-20 fps. With everything set to maximum performance, I get the same fps rate which puzzles me somewhat. My HDD has 0% fragmentation on it so with all this being taken into account the game should perform flawlessly. I’m running Crysis, Grid, Borderlands 2, and other games at high settings with much better FPS than GW2 is giving me. Now some games are running at 720p, and I have tried lowering the resolution for GW2, but the fps still remains the same. Can anyone provide some input as to what may improve my frame rates?

Thanks!
