Was this an intended change, because I don’t really like. The other changes they made to spirits are great, but I don’t understand why this needed to happen.

I don’t like other changes:
-> They die after activation.
-> Since they are Immobile they are even easier to kill.
-> Passive pulse from Trait is too short (1,25s every 3s).
-> They don’t activate anymore when killed i think (?).

Agreed! They should at least move and when killed activate. To be honest, at the moment it is so bad, I would just be glad if they moved… They have legs and everything, it doesn’t look right.

I started a ranger because I really liked the moving spirits, I finally got my ranger leveled up, now there was a big update and my spirits are stuck to the ground, making all my efforts for nothing. I literally made a ranger because I loved the spirits so much!

I have used the search button, but can’t find a clear answer with what they mean with custom arena playing time. A friend of mine would like to buy a custom arena. But what do the 30 days mean? Does time only expire while you play in it? Or does your custom arena expire after 30 days. So when he buys it 1st of March, it will expire on 30th of March? (not counting the two weeks grace thing)

Or does it really mean that for one day to expire, we need to have played 24 hours IN the custom arena?

Please help, 200 gold is a lot He doesn’t want to buy it when it’s 30 days real life time. Too expensive.

I wish I had known this before I bought that expensive make over kit. Yesterday I used it on my asura to change the eyes and hair. While the eyes are lovely now, this ugly stretching of the plaits go on. I’m sad because I really liked this hair style and now have to go and save up for another kit Please fix this, Anet, I beg you. It is such a nice hair style when my little asuran is not in combat.

I’ve worked hard to get the glorious armor set for my guardian. I wanted to emphasize the winged bits on the armor by making them gold. I love this set, because of the winged bits. Now I got the boots and have to see that you can’t properly dye them. You have two dye sections, but everything looks one colour anyways! There’s only a smidge on the wings of the boots that can get a different color, but you don’t even notice it!

This is probably a little bug or just something that was looked over when this set was created, but could you please fix this? So the wings can have a proper different colour like the rest of the set?

Hello everybody,

I was wondering if others had the same problem as me. I wanted to complete my daily, so I wanted to do the events in Caledon Forest. Luckily, I discovered an event and joined it. Sadly though, the event seems too small to even gain bronze for completing it. The zerg of people was so big all the enemies were destroyed in an instance and I could not do any damage.

I used to love to just prance around and get dailies without thinking about them. Gathering, dodging, doing events… But now they seem like a chore. It actually takes me longer to do the dailies now, because I have to go out of my way to go find them and do them instead of just playing.

Anyway, I wanted to point out to Anet that this is going on. I do my dailies with a level 80 and I could not get any damage to get the event, so I doubt a newer player will even get the chance.

It is quite frustrating to finally find an event and then not being able to complete it, because you do not even have the chance to hit something.

“Tyria” is an old Dwarvish word. It apparently translates into the common tongue as “Scarlet’s Junkyard”.

I fully understand that they are trying to show us that the world physically changes… that it’s not static. They want it to feel “alive”.

So change it again! Clean up the mess! Everything is being destroyed, but nothing is being cleaned up (much less rebuilt). We’ve lived almost half of the game’s existence amongst Scarlet’s rubble. It doesn’t feel like a “living world” when so much of it looks dead.

There’s tons and tons of raw materials free for the taking in Kessex Hills and Lion’s Arch to build some fantastic cities. Make the world feel like a place we’d fight to protect.

For those of you who point to “realism”, and say “give them time”, I say phooey on you! Was it realistic that Scarlet built all of those monstrous structures in almost no time at all? Without the backing of several cities worth of people that the good guys have? …in total secrecy?

There have been lots of changes to this game since the beginning. Many of those have been hugely controversial. But the beauty and realism of the artwork are amongst the most unanimously positive aspects of the game. Stop destroying the one characteristic that almost everyone agrees is done right.

Wintersday is almost upon us. The most magical season of all is coming. Give us back the gift of our beautiful world. Please. Then perhaps the Durmand Priory scholars can reassess their translation of the word “Tyria”.

The world is so beautiful. It killed me to see LA destroyed and Kessex Hills isn’t pretty anymore either… I’m very afraid that they’ll destroy the Grove too now. And it’s my favourite place in Tyria, together with Caledon Forest.

I think this is one of those “Why do you even have to ask?” moments. If it’s used as money, it goes in the wallet.

If it’s used for crafting, it goes into materials.

If it’s used for both, it should go into materials, but be spendable from the bank.

I have to completely agree with this one.
Some linearity would be nice…. With the new LS it feels like that they did everything to take up you brank space on purpose, so you would buy more bank tabs. Instead of just following their own example in the past e.g. see quoted post above this text.

Well, how cute the quaggan backpacks are, for me they don’t add to my character. While fairywings would.

It’s nice to hear the explanation behind the pink glowing weapons though

I don’t like the design of the peacemaker things (too rectangular) and lovestruck skins are a bit over the top for me

It’s not that I want “hello kitty girly cute”, but just more fairylike and less “death, orr, destruction, ghost” like things, if you know what I mean

Hi everyone,

I’m truely enjoying this game and I love seeing all the beautiful armour and weapons pass by when I play. ^^ But there’s one thing that’s been bothering me. I see all these pretty pink glowing weapons, such as Whisperblade, Anomaly, Chaos gun, Abyssal scepter, Vision of the Mists, … and then I discover there’s no dagger version of this. I would love to have more options concerning daggers. They can be considered small swords, right?

I love playing my ele with daggers, but no pink daggers are available. I love pink or purple glow, or something white…

Maybe some people will think this is silly, but I personally love the option for more fairylike things (a lot of girls play this game too) The same for backpack items, I feel there are too many “necromancer” options, if you know what I mean? Things that look brutal or scary, but I just don’t want to go for that look. I would love some butterfly wings or something!

Just a suggestion. I’m really happy with the ascended weapons by the way, I love the white ones and the celestial ones so much, it fits my ele and mesmer character a lot more.

Anyone else who feels like this?
