As an indication to the issue, if you got Gems, If you see … instead of actual number of Gems, then you got that local.dat issue. (which can be solved by deleting it)

Well there is a solution.
Delete your Local.dat file and re-log to the game.

I’m having this issues since day one.

Why there is no real solution yet from ANet?

Well, weird thing is that today I didn’t received that error.
Seems like it was Anet issue which might be fixed, at least I hope so.

Game is crashing with the same error after 10-60 min of play time.
Happens more frequently when going to Lions Arch but it’s not must to happen only when traveling in and out of Lions Arch.

Video card drivers are up to date, using the 304 version recommended by ArenaNet.

Specs:
Nvidia 430Gt
Q6600 with 2GB of ram.
I’m running the game on low graphics with some on medium and few on High (animation for example is high).

Tested with all graphics on low, got same results.

Hi,

Since game start I get error 7 randomly (can be 5 min or 1 hour), this is unreasonable since I got character level 50, mean I can play and interact with the game and players with no problem.

Yet on really random times I get either error 7 while playing and then error 42 when trying to reconnect to the game.
Sometimes I get error 5 on loading screen.

This is becoming really annoying, waiting for a game for so many years, getting an epic game but with so much server/lag/connectivity issues which reduces the game fun after all.

I’ve tried everything suggester, even disabled AV, set my router to DMZ, and connected directly to a modem, nothing is helping.
Every error blame us the users for our routing, security or location and never the servers of Anet.

What else can be done?

I would like to mention that I’m able to play the game sometimes, with no problem for an hour or two. means everything is OK from my end.

P.S Dear Anet, don’t let Guild Wars 2 become the next Diablo 3, that would be a shame.
