I’ve been messing around with the Thief profession, and I like it. Alot! However, I am still relatively new (also new to the whole assassin characters in general). I’m thinking that I would like to go with a dagger/dagger main set, with a shortbow offhand. My logic is that I can get close and personal with the dagger/dagger set, and also pick off/distance myself with the shortbow or stealth skills. I’ve been reading through the wikis, various guilds and forum posts. However, I am still very confused on how to approach the build. My main concern is survivability. But I guess that what dodging, stealth and add healing bonuses to armor are for? What would be the staple build for this kind of approach that I could read up on? There are so many it seems (very daunting lol).

Edit: I’m more concerned with PvE, than I am PvP or WvW.

I don’t think there is a faster way than to buy your materials from the Trading Post. So what I do is I travel around the maps for completion, doing dailies, killing things. Always have your tools with you, and collect on the way. Before you know it, you’ll have accumulated a lot of materials to craft and completed other achievements.

I agree. It doesn’t seem right that you can “buy” your way to level 80. It especially becomes problematic when botters can use this to their advantage. Could you link me to the threads with these discussions? Or is this more of a recent development?

Thanks. I read the guide. However, it doesn’t explain why when I view my stats while selecting signet of fury that my precision in green and crit % goes down.

Hmmm. I’ll look harder this time. Interestingly, I recently looked at my stats as I did my buffs, and it appears that signet of fury lowers my crit %. Can someone explain this to me?

Hey everyone, I tried searching my question to no avail.
I have a question about the adrenaline system. Whenever I see builds from Youtube, they talk about how full adrenaline gives bonuses. If I recall, it was critical percentage? Could some clarify me about this matter?

Edit: Also, why does signet of fury lower my crit %?

Hey everyone,
I have a question about the story mode. I often find myself continually doing the same events over and over again to level up. For example, I will be level 17, and in order to progress in my story, it’s recommended I have level 19. Of course I could try it, but at some point I would have to level up. Is there a quicker way to level up, than doing the 600 exp events?

Good day everyone,
I have a few issues that I’m wondering if they can be fixed. Sometimes I will be walking, or fighting, and then my audio lags for a split second. Similarly, with graphics, I get these in frequent little flickers that are really quick.
With respect to other graphics issues, sometimes when I’m loading to a city, it cuts for a second to my desktop and then back to the game. Other times my monitor randomly goes to “no signal” and then after a few seconds goes back on.
