I can see your slots are full already but if you could put us on a long queue or something for a full colored headshot with an extra character we’d really appreciate it, we’re not in a rush.

It’s the cuts that make it unappealing. For GW2 to be on Steam, Steam would take a 30% cut of sales of the game through Steam (not outside), however, as far as I’m aware they can’t run a real money ingame store outside of that, that’d need to go through Steam as well, and that would also take a cut.

Taking a cut for sales of the game isn’t really that big of an issue since merely being on Steam usually gets you a ton of sales, even ‘older’ games like this.

However, the biggest point, is that Anet doesn’t really need to. The game is big enough on it’s own. It doesn’t need to use Steam for it’s popularity.

Anyone else tired of this? I can’t speak for the US but in the EU I’m seeing people trading gold for CS:GO Skins more and more, sometimes several people at a time.

CS:GO just like TF2 and Dota 2 are massive unofficial markets for real money transactions. People trying to trade gold for skins are basically just taking an extra step to selling their gold. Surely this isn’t just LFG Abuse but this falls under Gold Selling as well right?

(on a sub note, isn’t people selling Legendaries on LFG abuse too? Stop messing up LFG to save yourself a buck)

Updated the opening post as we’ve been narrowing down what we’re after.

I am hoping to find someone willing to make some art for us with our characters. It would be my Charr male Engineer and my girlfriends Human female ranger and her favorite pets (Bear, Jungle Stalker).

The main interest for us is a drawing of all of us together, seen topdown through the opening of a forest leafdeck where we’re all resting on the grass together. My charr semi-curled up like the /sleep animation, with the female human resting against me using me as a pillow, with one pet on either side of her. The quick composition below hopefully explains the intent.

Another thing we’re after is headshots of our character, either separate or together.

Payment preferably with ingame gold, though we’ll consider paypal options as well if something seems particularly appealing to us.
