I was able to fix my login problem by removing the email authentication. I logged in several times in a row without issues. Ive just readded the email authentication to see if it still works. Waiting for the security email to allow my network.

I cannot comment on the performance of the AMD CPUs in this game as I just got my FX-8350 and haven’t been able to test it in GW2 due to the login error we are fed with right now. What I have noticed was horrible performance to begin with comparing with my old i7 920.

Even 3dmark was questioning the performance of the CPU cause it was lower than what was average for it. I then found out that by default my sabertooth fx990 board had a lot of power saving features enable which was killing or worsening the performance I would get.

Its really silly if you ask me and I was furious at first when it didn’t perform as I expected. How would a common Jack with no knowledge what to look for be able to fix something so stupid as this?

I would take a look in your bios for anything controlling core performance and those C states, if its something you feel safe about doing. I haven’t been on an AMD platform since Duron so im sure theres plenty ive missed but I think this is a good place to start.

I cannot login either. I also cannot gain access to the “security” tab under “my account”.
