That’s quite a let down, i was playing at the same time, and haven’t lost a thing, even though i got kicked off as you did with the firewall problem excuse.
That was due to the EU servers being offline, but the rollback seems to be selective, it happened to my girlfriend, she luckily only lost half a level and a few waypoints, and i didn’t lose as much as a copper.
I suggest writing a support ticket, but with the experience i’ve had with them the last few days, don’t get your hopes up, they can’t even track and replace a LOST mail between characters containing armor that was crafted for a friend, all they said was that they don’t have the means to do it, and tough luck…
