Guild Wars 2

This game is one of the best games on pc IMO. But, I still can’t help feel that they need more some sort of free trial system for growth. Why hasn’t this been set up yet? I appreciate that they have the free weekends, but we need a proper trial system, that allows people to try the game on demand. Whether it’d work on a time limit, or a level cap with certain restrictions, I don’t know. But I’m sure there are plenty of people (like my friends) who are interested in playing the game, but don’t want to spend money on it straight away. And finally, when games are free, a lot of people get them for the sake of it. So I’m sure this game could grow a lot if there was a trial system.

TLDR: Why isn’t there a trial system yet?

What I mean that is that mounts should only ever be used for a aesthetic appeal. No combat in it, no speed increases/decreases, just a aesthetic appeal. Not to do with movement at all.

Mounts will never be in this game. They added the waypoint system for that reason.

I would love to see ArenaNets oppinion on this. When they mde the game they looked at things in other mmos and went “now how are we going to do this, and make it better?”. I think this should be tried with mounts.

Well, that’s an opinion. I think you’re being a bit rash there. Mounts don’t have to be ugly, your comparing them to other games.

Personally, throughout playing this game the only things I feel need to be improved are these:

Aesthetic Mounts = I see no problem with a mount that has no changes to speed whatsoever, just a mount that walks on the ground for level 80’s. Considering this games emphasis on leveling is for aesthetics, I don’t think it would be a bad idea. If i was a brand new player seeing someone on a epic ground mount would definitely persuade me to level up. Also it’s just nice to collect and brag.

Dual Monitor Support = Just a dream, I know it would be pretty useless, but it’s a cool thought.

Yes PVE. So for that build all i need to do is just maintain my phantasms and just use my greatsword?

I really enjoy playing with my great sword a lot more on mesmer than concentrating on shredding my illusions. Will i be at a disadvantage if i spec 30, 30, 0, 10, 0? I would really enjoy it if i would be at the same level of other mesmers using my greatsword.

well i have been researching this game since its release, almost every day, i understand almost everything about the game (i think). I know i am supposed to go into it without any other mmo in my head, and play it like its a completely new experience.

Just to say, i’m really really really looking forward to play this game when its finished updating, i haven’t been this excited since i was about 5 years old.
