Guild Wars 2

Hey there everyone!

Like many, I am returning to Guild Wars 2 after taking a long break (preparing for HoT). I’ve been maining a warrior since the release of the game, and only just recently capped my second character (a Necromancer) to 80.

Personally, I’ve grown tired of my warrior, and as fun as I think Necros are, they are still frowned upon generally in the community, at least from a PvE perspective.

I am looking to jump start a new profession with some scrolls and tomes of knowledge. I would love to hear from you all as to which profession you enjoy the most and why as well as how well you feel your profession fits within the PvE/WvW communities in Guild Wars.

@Pirate.7514 – I happen to know for a fact that they are working on race change due to a similiar enquiry made by myself.

It can work, it’s not a hard concept to wrap your head around really. It’s just not something that is currently on their main priority list.

Just have to be patient now.

I didn’t read all of the posts..

But RE the complexity of the suggestion… I don’t think it will be difficult.

WoW had it so that X item/choice turned into Y item.

For example… the cultural human tier 2 chestpiece could then be turned into the cultural sylvari tier 2 chestpiece upon finalization of the character creation.

RE the storyline… Maybe it’s possible that they allow for a story reset up until the point of when you venture to Lions Arch and everyone is on the same page storyline.

Either way, I am in support of race changing and character re-customization. I hope they add this very soon, if at all possible.

Not that I hate Norn, but I regret choosing certain races for some of the class alts I’ve made. >_<
