Hello All!
NAGA (Not Another Gaming Acronym) is in need of dedicated WvW players. Due to it being summer and a lot of people on vacation we are now accepting all classes and people as long as you obey our simple rules and can meet our guidelines. We want to expand not only our WvW presence but build a friendly community with each other as well.
NAGA is a fun-loving, laid back group of people. We are a WvW focused guild, but organize plenty of other events as well. We have our own sPvP server that is available for our members use. We like to GvG from time to time. We also hold weekly guild missions at 10pm EST every Thursday.
NAGA likes to look for fights. We are what you can say open field fighters and that’s what we like to focus on. If needed we will play for PPT and defense as well. Our goal is to be able to maintain 20-25 players during our raids to achieve a well rounded zerg busting group of players.
All applicants must must be at least 18, as we tend to get a little crude with our humor at times. Membership in NAGA is subject to the guidelines described below. Please read them. They are as much for your benefit as for the guild. We like to have alot of fun, and the odd shenanigans every now then . We don’t ask our members for a lot. So as long as you follow the rules, we will all have a good time!
Representation Policy:
NAGA is meant to be your home guild. As such, it is expected for you to represent NAGA for at least 80% of the time. If you are online when we are holding a WvW raid, you will be expected to attend and represent NAGA. Representing another WvW guild when NAGA is not currently holding a scheduled WvW raid is fine, however NAGA should always come first. As such, if a member or trial is in WvW and representing another guild during a scheduled raid and refuses to attend, could result in termination from the guild.
Attendance Policy:
NAGA holds WvW raids four times a week. Our current schedule is as follows (all times Eastern US):
Friday:(WvW Reset) 9pm – 1am
Saturday: 8pm – 12am
Monday: 8pm – 12am
Wednesday: 8pm – 12am
All trial and current guild members are required to make at least 2 raids per week.
New trial recruits are subject to a 2 week initiation period in which their raid attendance will be montiored. Any new trial recruit who does not to make their minimum attendance, without prior notice of their inability to attend, will be subject to termination from the guild.
All current NAGA guild members must also make their minimum weekly raid attendance, unless prior notice of their inability to attend is recieved. Any member not able to make their required runs per week will be sent to the guild officers for review, sent back to Trial rank, and start their trial process over.
NAGA also holds class/role specific training nights. These are generally held on our off nights so as to not interfere with our scheduled raids. Participation in these trainings is not mandatory, but is recommended! We go over a lot of strategies that are very helpful whether you are a veteran WvWer or a complete noob. So try to show up if possible!
Code of Conduct:
NAGA has a strict no drama policy. If any person is found to be causing problems with other members or the entire guild, they will be kicked from the guild. No exceptions. We are a very fun and friendly group of people, and like to keep it that way. Should you or other members experience any problems with anyone, please let our Maestros know so that they may investigate.
Since NAGA likes to run organized groups in WvW, we tend to like people to run profession builds that help our guild meta. As such, you may be asked to change builds and/or professions (depending on what you have available for use) to better work within our group structure. We are always open for suggestions, if you find that another build could be more useful, and are more than willing to try new things. Should you have any questions or suggestions regarding this topic, please talk to one of our Officers as they are more than willing to listen.
Please be open to constructive criticism. Since we run organized group play, one of our Veterans/Officers/Maestros may talk to you regarding your playstyle and offer suggestions. They are not trying to degrade your abilities, they are only trying to help! We all like to win our fights and be successful. So if they offer you suggestions and/or criticism, please do not be offended, they are only trying to help you as a player and better help fit into our group composition.
