i think your having the same problem a bunch of ppl are having, including me.

since beta weekend 3 i played at 70-120 FPS, and 50-90 in wvw. then after a patch this week, im dow to 50-70, 25-45. a bunch of people seem to have the same problem. my gpu usage is around 45-70% most of the time.

And its not my hardware, because every other game runs no different then before

I know some people, including myself, have lost performance since an update rolled out earlier this week (monday or tuesday night). I personaly went from 80-120FPS questing and 45-90 in WvW down to 35-60 while questing, and 20-30 in WvW. sometimes it jumps back up to 90+ fps for a few mins, then drops down to the 40s. and from time to time (maybe ever 3-4 mins) when i turn the camera the game goes down to 4fps or less for a few seconds. its really a pain when it happens. I know 35-60 FPS is playable, but its annoying knowing that the performance was cut in half.

Has anyone found a fix for this? im currently useing the nvidia beta drivers because i havn’t heard otherwise.

Cpu – Intel I5 2500k @ 4.2ghz
Ram – 8gb DDR3 1333 CL7
GPU – GTX 580
OS – W7 64bit

I was getting 70-120FPS up until monday, then when i went to play last night i was getting 30-50 FPS, and whenever i try to turn the camera it goes down to 5 FPS or less. its unplayable like this. I played other games to make sure my GPU wasnt dying or somthin, and everything is fine.

Please Anet, undo whatever the patch did! youre our only hope!
