Here’s a thought problem for you guys:

If wvw is in fact about this ephemeral thing which we call “fun,” and SF is having fun w/ the current state of affairs, but the other two servers are not since they lack the adequate bodies to compete, whose fun takes precedence? My fun or your fun?

Today a thought occurred to me, I wondered the following. Why after spending months in t8 knowing they outnumbered them SO much, knowing they would never fight out of the ratings hole of t8 all the while claming to love and respect the players of ET and FERG so much. Why then, did they not do the sensible thing and split up some guilds amongst FERG and ET and balance out the tier. Why instead beg ANET to put them in the same position in another Tier where the game is boring and called before it starts.

That is why I would report those that I suspect of cheating. I abhor it and would even turn in my own Guild members if I suspected it. It is not that you were aware of someone cheating, it is that you would profit from it.

I will however test the arrow cart from where someone mentioned a possibility!

I would do the same as would all the SF commanders I know, but I was only pointing out that there is a gray area with behavior such as this(re complacency) due to the very nature of the word. Also in regards to snowflake debacle, I would argue that there is a clear distinction between running unknowingly w/ a hacker in a zerg and the snowflake exploit. For one thing, those who were banned by the admins for the snowflakes willfully committed the “ban-able” acts(of their own volition), whereas lowbies running around in a zerg are only doing just that, running around in a zerg, which is in and of itself completely within the established “rules” of wvw.

But then again, one can never know the mind of ANET; we in SF had no idea we would be bumped up manually T7, but here we are.

Now there may be a possible explanation but be warned that we did take screenshots. The sad but irrefutable fact is that if someone in your zerg was cheating by using a PoV modifier hack, then the WHOLE zerg, all 50+, are complicit and at the risk of being banned.

If they were hacking, would the whole zerg be complicit in the action even if most had no knowledge of it? The clear answer is no since complacency requires awareness of wrongdoing.

Bad sportsmanship is just as lame in video games as it is in any other environment.

Then I shall make it a point to PM every single SF I see who dances on a corpse so that they may conform to our chivalrous method of playing. Fear not HoD and NSP, for we shall correct this repugnant behavior tout de suite so that you all may die with honor and grace!

But in all seriousness, I have more important things to get all riled up about than some video game, though to each his own; I will not be the one tell another how to think, nor how to play.

I’ve lost any respect again I may have had for SF, multiple duels and such when I win I bow to them than when an SF wins they laugh at my corpse…also sometimes when more than 1v1 again the majority of you are sad

While I do try and remember to bow every-time I get in a duel w/ someone and win, I honestly do not understand how people can be so very kitten about this. “WHY HE’S DANCING ON MY CORPSE?!?!? HOW DARE THE INDOLENT SWINE! A THOUSAND YEARS OF MISFORTUNE UPON HE AND HIS FAMILY’S HEADS!”

I mean c’mon, it’s a video game. If you don’t like watching toons dance on your corpse, try not to die as much. It’s a pretty simple remedy, really.

WvW is about winning, you guys.
