Guild Wars 2

I love PvP and would say about 85% of my time in GW2 has been spent in the arenas. That being said, I would definitely consider myself a casual player because I really don’t get a chance to play much.

I would really like to join a guild/team that enjoys playing PvP but won’t crap on me for being an average player or for not investing much time into the game. I’m rank 37 and feel that I have a good comfort level with my guardian, but considering I always play solo queue, it’s really hard to tell if I am actually decent, or if the peeps around me simply suck. I really want to learn more and improve and want to become more competitive, but I don’t feel like I will get that from playing solo all the time.

Any recommendations for guilds or teams that love to play PvP and enjoy teaching other players?

Hey Everyone – I am getting back into Guild Wars 2 after a long break and as much as I love the game, I have come to the conclusion that I simply suck at MMOs.

I have always been a console gamer and therefore have never been good at PC games….Therefore, I am absolutely terrible at managing all of the key bindings available in this game. I got a mesmer all the way to 80 a while back and played a lot of PvP and PvE and now that I’m back, I’m playing Thief…So I feel relatively experienced, but I have always felt like a sub-par player just going through the motions. I am good at the basics, such as circle strafing, kiting, etc. But in terms of making the quick decision of executing a daze, or dodge at the correct moment, I don’t feel skilled at all. I feel like I am just spamming all my abilities as they come off cool-down.

I guess my question doesn’t really have a point so far, so I guess in your opinion, when did you really start getting the hang of the game? When did you take the step from becoming an average player to a “skilled” player and what helped you get to that point?

No, you will not.

I haven’t actually done that, of course, to test it, but I’m 99% sure you wouldn’t, because practically nothing else in the game works that way. I’m afraid you’re probably just out of luck, although you could save them for an alt if you like. Sorry!

Cool. Thanks for the advice! However, I did hear that since they are Account Bound /Soul Bound or something weird…I actually cant give it to an alt. I think Im going to destroy it and give it a shot. Here we go haha

I’m stupid. I made it to the top of the Mad King’s Clock Tower and was so excited that I picked the gloves in stead of the arm wraps (For my Mesmer). Now I’m stuck with an Exotic that I cant use. So I have a question…

If I destroy the gloves, will I be rewarded with another Mad King’s chest when I make it to the top again?
