I made the macro myself simulating my own mouse clicks. It was a direct input from myself. It’s not something generic, my own actions down to each millisecond made the macro.

I can mimick the same course of action by using my left hand to double click at the same speed. As stated before, it saves on your mouse wear & t ear, but also doesn’t make me feel like my hand is going to sieze up in pain.

This is why we buy nice mice and keyboards with macro functions, everyone can do the same.
I salvage 7000 items at once, and it can really leave my wrist and hand damaged for hours to the point where I need to ice them down.

I appreciate the responses, but I really would like an official response from Anet directly to my question. I’ve nearly collected 7,000 achievement points from salvaging, I have been doing this FOR A VERY LONG time without a macro.

Hello everyone. I admit I have had a tough time in Guild Wars 2 making gold, especially with the precursors are so high in price.

I’ve developed a system that I want to make sure is legitimate before I completely feel at ease using it. Basically I buy cloth and salvage it. Most of these items are trophies, so they stack up to 250 in size.

I made a macro that simulates 25 left mouse clicks to salvage an entire kit itself with one button, rather that callous my fingers and give myself arthritis. I am awaiting some official confirmation before I actually use this method, as I love the game and wouldn’t want to risk my account.

TLDR; I am not afk while is happening, and all it’s doing is saving me some hand aches and pains for later.
