Are you serious right now? Ranger is one of the top classes in the game right now. In PvE they’re practically mandatory for almost all high-level content. In raids a condi druid can put out solid damage, keep the group healed, and offers buffs like grace of the land, spotter, glyph of empowerment, sun spirit, and frost spirit.

In PvP they’re a solid class as well and can have a massive impact on any team.

Mandatory for what? Elementalists are much better healers, condis… are you even comparing them to a proper condi class? Yeah they do enough different things to be used in a party and agree about PvP but they aren’t the best choice for any role in Raids, Fractals or WvW. And I’m not even going to compare their boons to mesmers or revenants

Anet please fix rangers from once and for all…

They’re by far the most hated class ever in game for reasons that actually make sense…
They are supposed to be great distance damage dealers but long bow deals low damage. Condis are decent but still far from a good condi anything else. As healers like people expected druids to be the best… they’re also suppressed in the shadow of other classes which that’s not even usually a role.

As we were talking about in guild chat we came out with a collective idea that would possibly help fixing multiple of the ranger/druid issues base don the worst of their qualities… Their Pet.

Well as everyone know the AI of their pets is terrible so here’s our suggestion…
Allowing Druids to use their pets as spirits that stay with the druid instead of physical pets, granting bonus based on the pet that was equipped. E.g. If a Feline was equipped when turned into a spirit they could get extra power or the skills deal more base damage. If it’s a Moa increase their toughness and decreased time on knocks or stuns etc etc and a pet that wold increase their outgoing healing and allowing them to apply extra Rejuvenation would be the cherry on the top of the cake.

I’m not a main Druid, rarely play mine to be honest… But it’s sad that there’s a class that is being constantly bullied by “rebalances and class fixes”. If you want balance and people to play a higher variety of classes please fix what’s wrong instead of keep fixing what was made right.

Not sure what to say about this. In where i live its 1:20 am (gmt +2) in England is like what? 11:20? So yeah could we at elast have an update that the release wont make it on eu before 8th of feb? I know ppl who skipped work or even school to check the update and it would be nice if we could at least sleep knowing we wont miss anything. Also since there’s a new raid and i’m sure most guilds will have given up by now and go to bed on the eu while a few will stay awake just to get the world first we wont even have a proper race for it.

Well people who miss work or school because of a game update are just irresponsible.
On another hand you have people who because of this update (Anet employees) are probably working extra hours instead of going home to be with their families to get this fixed and ready asap for their customers. And missing what? They’re not removing anything just delaying it a day. It’s not a race and you don’t get any credit by being the first person starting it and if you don’t want spoilers just turn the chat off.
Personally, I didn’t do anything in the game today waiting for the update and reading all pieces of information about the update as I possibly could. I’m as upset as you and any other player though I’m not blaming them for me not wanting to do anything else until the update is out cus that was my own decision.
