Quiting or not this would really help with server population especially on home servers.

I propose that Guesting only be allowed if you you are apart of a guild on that Server. The only reasons people are guesting is 1)World boss chest 2)Gathering Nodes and 3) Playing with friends. Number 3 should be the main reason someone guests on a server.

People will obviously cry “This is a ‘dumb.’ I want to play with my friends, but they’re on a different server.” Easy solution—Join your friend’s guild or have your friend join your guild. I may be mistaken, but I believe there is a limit of 6 guilds per account, which if it is, is a good amount per account. Let alone only being allowed to guest on two servers w/in 24 hrs. Having “friends” on a server is too easy to exploit as people can post on forums their servers and simply “friend” them to be able to guest on a different server. That would not solve the Home server overflow issues as there are ways of bypassing that.

Now there are ways to “exploit” this too so here are some other suggestions as to keep the exploits at bay. Require some sort of wait time for either leaving a guild or being kicked from a guild. Maybe 2 hrs for leaving and 30mins-1hr for being kicked. Something like that. If someone is willing to go through all the hassles of leaving a guild just to farm nodes or world boss chests let them. I see that process as tedious and would not want to leave, wait an hour, join a different server only to find out that I’m on an overflow or the world boss is dead.

These aren’t full proof ofc and need more thinking over. This is just to get conversation going as to how to combat Home Server overflows. Please be civilized and try not to flame one another.

I did Maw on a different server and got a chest. I then did Maw on my home server with the same character and didn’t get a chest. I don’t know why people are guesting to farm world bosses when you only get one chest per World Boss no matter if its on a Guest server or your Home server.

Anyone else test this or am i mistaken?

I have two sets of armor and trinkets all in invisible bags. Before the patch they would replace the gear in my invisible bags. Now, they either go to the top of the bag or into one of my rare fractal 20 slot bags. Please set it back to how it was prior to update

So…since Anet finally implemented stats that would better my build can i get a refund of laurels?

Running mainly windowed mostly. Firefox running with dragontimer, gw2lfg, wiki, etc.

I crash a lot after so many Way points or loading screens. I just upgraded my video card from a 512 MB 9800gtx+ to a 2GB gtx 660 and I still have this issue. Any ideas of what else I could do?

I was 25 last night before I logged. Is there a possible error when leaving party while at the wait area for fractals?

So…I’ve been doing higher level FOTMs and it seems that I’m not where I should be. Ever since I reached level 22 I’ve been doing higher level Dailies, 24 and 26, and now I find myself to be only level 23. Was there a roll back for Fractal Personal levels?

I like Longbow/GS combo the best, but axe/axe, axe/dagger, sword/dagger, sword/axe would be better than x/horn. Daggers are great for bleeds so I would use x/dagger combo. Only thing I use a horn for are jumping puzzles and getting speed boost. But hey it’s u’r character and you have the final say.

Stick to Windows 7. Win8 will have bugs and issues when it comes out and will hamper ur gaming experiences.

I bought my CE from Gamestop, and when I got home, opened the box and tried to apply the serial, it said it was already applies, and I’ve never gotten the grace period over on that account. Are you getting the “Grace Period Over” screen? or are you still able to play?

p.s. my in box code was IDENTICAL to the one I got for open beta’s on my ticket from GS…. still not quite sure how they did that.

I’m gettin “Grace Period Has Ended.” Did you pick up or get delivered? Mine was delivered….

I have my CE box, but don’t want to open it for the serial code. I totally forgot that this would happen because I used that account mainly for closed beta and early access. I bought a digital copy for this, but have played 50+ hours on the CE account and don’t want to start over. I know it is my fault, but can you guys please move my character(s) to my digital copy? It would mean a lot if you guys cared enough to fix my problem.

I have some characters on my digital copy, but are only lvl 4-6. Should I delete them now so transfer is easier?

ouch. shoulda deposited ur rytlock. maybe GW2 should implement a 3 day grace period before accounts are completely deleted.

I bought a CE and a Digital copy. I played on my CE for beta weekends and release, but have yet to open my CE Box. The thing is I don’t want to open it either to keep its value. I was wondering if I could get my characters on the CE account moved over to my Digital Copy. I’ve spent 40+ hours on the CE account and don’t want to start over from scratch. I know it’s possible, but please let me know asap. I haven’t really played in the last week or so.
