As someone postet a screenshot of him opening 300+ of loot bags not having one of these new wxp consumeables i assume it is the
“When I kill someone, there is a chance that the loot bag dropped on the group can contain a big jug of WEXP? So I loot the bag and I get 2 junk items, a blue, and 25,000 WEXP item?”
Which would make more sense, altough it makes zergs even more rewarding.
Once again those of us stock pilling wxp potions to use in conjunction with boosters are kittened.
Why would anyone do that knowing what happened with the karma boosters?
I did because i had only one b-day boost left. Was hoping to save it for a good matchup, unfortunately i had to use it after i saw the sticky yesterday.
Althought i would still prefer account wide WvW Ranks, i somewhat like this patch.
I’ll use this new WXP consumables for my main only unless i reach a point that i don’t need AP anymore. But i can still play my alts and hope for some loot i can give my main.

Even the difference between being place 1, 2 or 3 is not that huge. It’s just like some extra rank ups but without earning Ability Points.
Some people may join WvW to obtain their bonus chests, some will leave and whine here why they have to play WvW to get their bonus chests, others will eventually stay and enjoy playing some WvW and gaining some extra chests.
In the end this is one of the few small updates to WvW that may benefit all of us.
I’m convinced whoever in is charge of wvw and it’s development just chooses to do the exact opposite of what we ask for.

World rank bonus chests will now be awarded to all players on a server based on the results of WvW matches. Three chests will be awarded for 1^st^ place, two chests for 2^nd^ place, and one chest for 3^rd^ place.
World rank bonus chests are now account bound.….
World rank boxes for EVERYONE on a server? Obviously too hard to work out who had actually worked for the reward so a blanket reward for all the pve’rs that never even stepped into wvw.

Especially this (^). This really should have been tied to the WvWvW achievement track that is supposed to come out when leagues do. Have a WvWvW sub-achievement track per-week that will give these out, and this rolls up into the ‘service to your server during league’ WvWvW achievements that they have mentioned. … Or have a ‘weekly’ for WvWvW that gets factored similarly of the ‘monthly’ for PvE/PvP, etc etc. This really makes it look like what you said … too hard, so just blanket.
I expect we’ll get another re-surge of golem rushing with more on the market at lower prices from PvEers.
If i’m not absolutly wrong here, this part of the patch WILL NOT reward pure PvE Players. These bonus chests are the same chests you get for a WvW rank up. You will still need to rank up in WvW to get these, one bonus per rank up until there is none left.

That’s the problem. The less population, the less AFK people, the less idiots, the more you can get organized. We were 130+ people on TS but were only able to achieve 35% because tons of AFK people and so many people not using waypoints when they’re dead. Either reduce the scaling or increase overall map population so we can actually get enough people to do it, instead of all these morons fooling around.
