No, I never was interested in that shield. Nice try at being a dk though, and that grammar…

Anyways, I played with the colors and came up with this. Super happy I got the sword and shield. Now I need to figure out whether to keep the Peacemakers GS or not. I love the purple effects it leaves when I run, but now that I’m not that general color I don’t know what to do.

I like the way they look. They’re animated, they’re pretty, they have clock hands in them….

BUT, (and this may be a personal thing)…. there’s no purple in them.

Now, you might add “I play Mesmer and I’m a skull crushing, football(American) playing, UFC watching man.” Cool, got it.

Your entire VGUI is purple. You most likely hover a greatsword that weighs 70LBS between your spirit fingers when you click, or push a foe with a purple “wave of magical energy” off a clif in WvW.

So why no purple love for a weapon that was designed in the liking of a class that is inherently purple by association?

I bought them, I like them, I just feel after purchasing them that my Mesmer looks a lot like my Guardian. I think that anet would have sold more of these (BL keys to unlock tickets) if they would have added purple to the skin.

Still working on tweaking the colors to match her shield. But I’ve settled on this for now. Want to actually play her.

Just a quick idea for a build. Never seen this one online and haven’t played much in about 4 months. After the April 15th update I kinda played with traits. Used to run an AH build but want some more damage. Had Dolyak runes and realized that 30hp/sec just wasn’t worth it. I lost a lot of toughness but gained a good bit of power. The might ive added from the Sigil of Strength and Runes of Strength makes it hurt quite a bit more than what I’m used to doing. I can get 14-20 stacks on most fights with no problem. Ive seen 25 stacks a few times but its only for a second or two. Just wondering if y’all think its got a good start here.

Ive tuned it around Virtue of Justice. I try to spam that as much as possible. Pretty much anytime I hit it I’m doing 35% extra damage, and they go down quick. With my damage multipliers (10% burning foes / 5% GS attacks / 10% when endurance not full / 7% under effects of might / 3% vulnerability when I blind)

I would like to add 10 more to Virtues so I run a lot of Retaliation, but I just cant bring myself to pull it out of any other trait. I can deal without the extra 300 in Honor and lose the 3K health, but that only gets me Retaliatory Subconscious, which helps keep damage off, but I’m not sure if that is better/worse than the 3K. I’m up in the air about that.

I run 99% GS, still toying with other weapons as secondary. Everyone says sword/focus but I just don’t enjoy playing it as much.
