I’ve experienced this as well in sPvP and tPvP a few times.
I can verify that the combat log doesn’t reflect damage delt, I can see me attacked and the incoming damage is ~3k and I’m down.
I enjoy all aspects of PvP, I can honestly I am not the best player, but I am adept to learning and building with a team.
At the moment I play a Bleed/Fear build, but I am open to suggestion. In WvW I roam a lot and play a Glass Cannon Powermancer.
I guarantee you that many of us would take the 5 second DS trait if it didn’t share our one and only stability outside of transforms, and wasn’t so deep in a tree that severely limits power/well/hybrid/condition builds when taken to 30 points. Imagine having that at .5-3 seconds cooldown, and how much that would allow the use of DS to be more about skill, and less about dumb luck.
^ This… I cannot agree with you more about the usability of DS and it’s cool down.

Since the new patch, I occasionally am getting this issue. It’s mostly linked to my movement keys where I notice it the most. Is this still and on going issue?
