Guild Wars 2

Our server loses every week. We’re always outnumbered and our server is in last place. We need some help please.

So I’ve been playing my Condition Necromancer for awhile and I’m here to discuss some tips on how to counter our weaknesses. From my personal perspective I see the Necromancer weak to Thieves, Rangers, and Warriors. A decent Necromancer should be able to kill the other classes.

I don’t know how to counter everything so feel free to comment and discuss how you counter certain classes. I will add what you wrote to this topic.

Theives -
I used to have so much trouble killing them. I hated when they would stun me out of no where and I have no way to react to them. The Thief is the most mobile class while the necro is the least mobile.

Counter -
This come from pro thieves and mainly every Thief I talked to. Conditions Conditions Conditions. I paired Weakening Shroud with Foot in the Grave together. The second they get close and stun me I pop into Death Shroud then use my #3 for fear then #2 (normal necro not reaper). This will apply so much bleed and force the Thief to retreat. It should be an easy fight after this.

Rangers -
I would have never expected me to have trouble with a Ranger until Druid became a thing and was able to remove 13 conditions just by entering Celestial form. Druids have so much condi cleanse and healing potential. The major issue I have with Druid is their ability to stay at very far ranges and spam Immobolize. They will be ranges outside of our Plague Signet range.

Counter –

Warriors -
The resistance Warrior basically kills any Condi Necromancer. I personally find the boon Resistance very overpowered. Warriors have Healing Signet and Berserker Stance for resistance. The issue Necro’s have with Berserker stance is that it pulses every 3 seconds and reapplies Resistance. That means if you strip that boon away it’ll just come back and you just wasted one of your skills.

Counters -

I’m sure some information might not be correct. I only play Necromancer. If I made a mistake let me know. I’m still new to the game but I’ve been playing a lot of PvP and WvW. I see a lot of potential in Necromancer (even though a lot of people say otherwise). I really like spamming conditions and if anyone wants to see the build I use feel free to ask.

I think it would be a great idea to have racial skills be implemented into sPvP. Most of the racial skills are outclassed but could lead to some very interesting builds.
What are your guys opinion about having racial skills in sPvP?

I’ve been playing Guild Wars 2 on and off from time to time. I remember when offhand Dagger on Necro was so viable and Warhorn was considered trash. Today the meta game is Warhorn over Dagger. Why is that? I’m just wondering because you can apply more bleeds with Dagger.

My best friend just got his account closed and won’t ever be reopened. Why? Because I bought my account with my credit card and I bought his account with my credit card because I wanted him to try out the game. At first they said suspended his account saying we need information about both of us and I was okay with that it is understandable because they want to make sure that I’m not double accounting. We give them both out numbers and all the information they needed. Note* me and my friend don’t even live in the same city. Later ANET messages my friend saying all your information is correct and it. Everything is correct. But they say we’re pertinently closing your account because avoid using multiple email addresses when making purchases with a credit card. Okay we needed 2 emails mine and his. They banned his account, which i paid for and won’t reopen it. We’ve both been sending tickets. I don’t know how to reopen his account.. I paid for it and gave them all the information they asked for and proved that we are 2 people….
