A simple fix to this would be to add a visible timer showing how much longer until siege disappears.

Not only will this draw attention to this issue (i dont think a lot of people are aware of this) but it will add a ‘positive reinforcement’ type feeling to players who get on a piece of siege for a sec and hop off. They will be able to visually see how what they’ve done has helped their team.

My only fear is that with this, people will not allow any siege to ever disappear xD

If this happens, then simply lessen the time it takes for siege to disappear.

IMO, the only changes WvW needs regarding Siege is:

1. Arrow Carts should either do less dmg, be more expensive, or have a smaller AoE.

2. An upgrade that can be purchased in keeps/towers/camps that allow NPCs to respawn 50% faster.

3. Rams should require 50 supply to build, instead of 40.

4. Control timer should be vastly increased. Anywhere from 2-5 minutes AT LEAST imo.

Those are the most needed changes regarding sieges as of now, i think.

Hi,

This trait is supposed to give +30 Toughness to nearby allies, yet when I ask my friends if they notice a different in their stats when standing near me (right on top of my character) they see no difference at all.

I’m not the only one either: http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Talk:Strength_in_Numbers

Would appreciate a fix, because its a pretty decent trait on an otherwise lackluster trait line.

I wouldn’t be surprised if they had a de-spawn timer to prevent spamming of unfinished siege weapons.

But if they were finished, then I have no idea whey they would despawn it….

Yeah, they were completely finished. Kinda lame to lose a blueprint like that, and i’d like to avoid that in the future so I don’t lose more. But at the same time I don’t wanna be stingy with my blueprints, and i’d like to have a finished siege for defense.

Hey guys,

I was just curious if you all had the same experience i have. I’ve built several siege weapons (defensively) at the garrison or a keep or tower. It’s happened to me like 3 times already, that I’ll have a Cat built, then leave and come back 10-20 mins later and its gone! 100% sure it wasn’t attacked or anything, and like I said, it’s happened several times already.

Any idea why this is?
