Guild Wars 2

Greetings Tyrians,

Academy of the Veil is a small role-playing crafting resource guild from GW1.

We are recruiting crafters, patrons, and role-players within Northern Shiverpeaks.
Aside from crafting and leveling, we play WvWvW casually.

Patrons:
1/ Commission for high level/legendary gear crafted
2/ Whether you need materials; or have an abundance of materials that you would like to put to good use.
3/ Price checking for current crafted items.

Simply because of the nature of our guild, representing us are not required. Feel free to pop in if you have any questions regarding crafting, guild wars 1, or WvWvW. Almost all of our members are maxed 400/400 single-duo crafts, and are level 80.

In GW1, splendid chests took a month to reset. But I’ve done a couple of the jump quests once per day and they seemed to reap the same if not similar rewards. My guess is half a day, or a day.

Answer is yes. We will only ever have 9 slots.

It’s disappointing how small it is but it is there.

A couple of my friends got perma banned for NO reason what so ever. Similar stories as the ones posted above. Has this company ever heard of “Authenticators”? All the big named companies are using them, this is something that should have been implimented on launch. No reason all these accounts should be getting hacked like this and to boot there is NO phone support which makes things 1000 times worse. Who the hell wants to wait for an email based response?

Has anyone heard anything about mobile phone authenticators though?

A lot of people have said they have been ‘banned for no reason’, but in the end, ArenaNet found the reason and they have either been total badmen in chat, or their name was rather offensive.

Also, your account might have been attacked by a goldseller, and ArenaNet have banned it for secure reasons. Write a ticket to support and they will fix it.

Now, i’m not saying that any of you have been badmen in chat, got offensive names, or your account is being targeted by gold sellers, but it’s been too many ‘banned for no reason’ and there actually is a reason.

A ridiculous justification.
Obviously they did not do anything wrong or they would not be posting here.
Nobody that abused and exploit would have the audacity to come here and cry about being banned.

I hope you are being sarcastic in your comment, otherwise you are very naive.
There are plenty of players who would knowingly abuse an exploit and then come here sand say they have been banned for no reason.

I have seen it in other games, where players have knowingly abused an exploit and then come to the forums and complained about it after they had their account either suspended or rolled back for doing so, saying they did nothing wrong.

As for Anet banning players without telling them why.
I find it hard to believe they would do that, but if they do it then there is something very wrong here.

And if some of the posts, but here and on reddit, are to be believed, then it sounds to me like they are banning people at random for no reason at all which I find very hard to believe.

I dont know what their reasons for doing so are, but if the ban a player it has to be for a good reason and at the very least the player in question should be informed about this and be given a chance to have their say in the matter.

This whole banning business sound very dubious to me and I get the impression they are far to quick to use the ban hammer.
Not saying they should not do it when the situation warrants it, but right now it seems they are far too quick to use it

I don’t know what your gaming experience is; nor do I care for what other communities you have been in to determine your said familiarity on this subject. As far as I know, that is all hearsay and uncredited. Sorry, but my point still stands. Over 50 posts on unwarranted account bans I will dare say that 10% in those are really unwarranted. Maybe you have not played GW1, but after that experience with Anet. Anything is possible.
