Cool name. Sounds like a “native” name, obviously part of a pack/legion/warband.

My Warriors name is ‘Grave Maker’. It was a name i’d saved for a while, and with my Charr Warrior being my 3rd 80 i finally put it to use.

my female charr warrior is called Mayven Blackfeather.

the elder dragons and a giant race (that are extinct) are the oldest. then the dwarves, seers and mursaats. then the gods crated a race of serpentine creatures called ‘the forgotten’ as servants. so no, not the oldest race!

actually, to be honest… humans are the worst race in tyria, lore wise. they got magic and abused it. they killed for fun, for evil. they raided ascalon and took it from the charr (who were actually there first.. the gods created them), killing a lot of them in the process.

long story short, humans deserved it.

“Tyria flourished under the protection and the care of the gods. To aid them and serve as caretakers, the gods had servants – a race of serpentine creatures, now called the Forgotten. The Forgotten were meant to shepherd, teach, and care for the growing world, as well as the other beings that were to come.

It wasn’t long before Tyria was home to many: the charr, tengu, minotaur, dwarves, centaur and others. Finally, another race came to Tyria and they brought with them a desire for domination. They were humans.

Humans quickly spread and began to conquer all the lands they encountered.

ascalon was and is 100% without a doubt charr homeland. the humans took that away from them. i completely understand them fighting for it back.

i’m level 60 as an asura elementalist. for bosses, it makes sense that they will be owned in a couple hits. you shouldn’t be standing in melee range of a boss. i suggest if you want to survive soloing tough enemies, use a good staff. move around a lot. condition damage, condition damage, condition damage. control spells to keep them in place and at a distance. switch up your attunements a lot. you have to be quick and focus a lot on the damage-over-time. i used a d/d ele at first for a while and it’s good but staff is so much better for soloing. i can also solo 5 levels higher than me.

i’ve been thinking of going into PvP for a while but i’ve never done much before. in any mmo. as for WvW i can put a lot of hurt on enemies in big groups.
