I think Anet dropped the ball a wee bit when they didn’t include some of the cool things you see in PvE in WvW. Asuran lasers instead of ballista/cannons/whatever, Charr tanks instead of golems (or in addition to golems), a submarine or airship as a capture point, there is so much scope instead of regular old medieval siege weapons. It would’ve tied the game together better IMO. Its only a minor gripe though.

We didn’t even do that badly against SoS 1.0 the week before

Don’t worry ebay, we’ll be fighting again in 2 weeks when we get destroyed in tier 4 and you win in tier 6. Its the natural order or things at this point.

People like to say “I was on your server but I transferred off because you are all terrible” all the time to add weight to their arguments, especially around here. There is really no way anyone can disprove it. But it is very lame.

Nobody said it was an exploit, we all know its a bug. But a thief using lots of stealth benefits from culling whether they want to or not. Nobody is blaming anybody for anything here, there is no need to be defensive about culling.

He is just saying what is an acknowledged problem with the game, that culling aids thieves emerging from stealth, don’t get so defensive.

Thank you for leaving our server at some mysterious point in the past Teerwik, you did all us maguumans a huge favour. Funny how none of the guilds in our server alliance feel the same way as you do..?

I don’t think you understand how much of an advantage the off-peak playerbase thing is…but no matter…back to the borderlands.

I don’t think your server has ever been any higher than us in the rankings, and so has never faced the kind of servers we have, but to say that we have no idea how effective night capping is, is silly. We fought the 2 biggest oceanic servers and lost. Every time we touch tier 4 we get hammered by servers with bigger populations. Population is the name of the game, make the best of it.

If you’re going to accuse us of silly things like that and lamely attempt to deamonise my guild I’d like some pictures/videos or whatever proof you can bring to the table. You see when we spot people hacking or exploiting everyone gets told to hit the screenshot button, I myself have a few wonderful pics sitting around.

If you also think that anyone would log on to your server with an alt and just stand around taking up spots for an in game advantage you’re hilariously delusional to an amazing degree. Someone is not moving at the waypoint! grr must be one of those dastardly goons on an alt!

You can’t beat Maguuma in a weekend, we learned that last week. Although we didn’t end up first we came within spitting distance of overtaking Darkhaven a few times. I can only hope that Emry Bay learns the same lesson, and keeps pushing throughout the rest of the week.

We understand that our comms being open makes us vulnerable to spying and we elect not to do anything about it. Ultimately the meta game is not healthy enough for us to invest in counter espionage.

LOL, funny you mention that, yesterday when RE was in Maguuma BL, we were assembling Golems, and some guy who I wont give his name took three of our Golems and placed them right where Maguuma was trebbing from AH.

I was very upset, and so was his guild leader. Every once in a while I watch people taking supplies from towers for no reason (when there was a supply camp 40 sec away, when he did nothing with the supply after he took it). Idk, stuff makes me think sometimes, It wouldnt surprise me if infact DH has spies for other servers actually.

You should never attribute to maliciousness what can adequately be explained by stupidity.

C’mon guys. It’s the Goon Squad and friends. Just bring 3 groups and wipe them. Two well organized groups should actually be sufficient.

It pleases me to actually read about the Goonies coming out with new “tactics”. Normally they put up a 500 men strong zerg and run around like a bunch of lemmings from objective to next objective till they get wiped by a well organized bunch of players.

I think you’re putting too much stock in the SoS night squad, having fought them for 2 weeks in a row now its pretty shocking how bad they actually are. Definitely not tier 3+ material. They are the epitome of mindless zerg, not used to facing opposition (and definitely not upgrading anything). Hopefully for your sake the whole sever can get better together though.

Wowzers will you look at that population imbalance? Outmanned as usual.

Loot bags just piling up at my arrow cart as SoS try to push our defenses. People shouldn’t forget that our population problems haven’t gone away, we can still only field enough players for 1.5 maps. And never EB because its not worth the effort. Its been super fun blunting your pushes today, maguuma owns and maguuma players own.

Seems like climbing up the rankings is the worst thing you’d want to do at the moment.

Fighting with SoS is pretty annoying. Like the rest of the Maguumans have said, our night guys get rolled due to it being SoS prime time, then when US prime time pops up its just us and FA who have a bigger population than us. That said though we’ve had some great fights and we don’t lay down for long, its just the whole 3 server system goes out the window when one of the servers doesn’t show up due to being asleep.
